"Baby, where should I put the food?"

Jimin, Yoongi, Jungkook and Taehyung were preparing the hall for the new year's party. Hoseok was supposed to be there helping them but they hadn't heard much from him.

Jimin shrugged. "Ask Tae. He's doing arrangements and positions.

Yoongi's eyebrow raised at Jimin's off behaviour. Jimin had been off with him since yesterday, yet he couldn't figure out why. He had asked him if he had done something wrong but the younger only convinced him that nothing he had done upset him and if it did, he would tell him. Yoongi himself was sure of that, but Jimin wasn't himself and it worried him.

Every time he tried to start up a conversation with Jimin, it always came to a brief, quick end. It was almost as if Jimin was avoiding him. Of course, he spent time with Yoongi but he made no effort to talk and at times where he'd usually slip, he didn't. It was baffling to Yoongi and he felt a severe need to get to the bottom of his boyfriend's unusual behaviour.

"Yeah... Okay." Yoongi spoke as he turned to walk away but halted. "Baby, are you sure you're okay?"

Jimin slammed his phone down on the table, then clutched the edge of the furniture and kept his head down as he tried to control his breathing.

"Hyung, I'm fine. Just- just help out." He managed to get out.

"Yeah... Yeah, okay."

Yoongi gave Jimin a sorrowful look. He placed one hand on his back but Jimin only flinched at his touch making Yoongi pull away from him.

The older decided he should make himself scarce and give Jimin the space he clearly needed. He walked over to Taehyung who gave him a pitiful smile as he rubbed his back comfortingly.

"It's okay, Yoongi-ssi. Whatever he's going through he'll deal with it soon enough." Taehyung reassured.

Yoongi only shook his head. "Why can't he let me help him? I always have and I'm more than willing to— he fucking knows that."

"I can talk to him hyung. Maybe he'll open up." Jungkook suggested, as he looked over at Jimin who was evidently distressed.

Yoongi only nodded.

Jungkook smiled small. He pecked Taehyung's cheek before leaving his hyung's wand walking over to Jimin.

"Jiminie, what's up?" He asked softly.

Jimin shook his head as his tears finally begun to roll down his pink flushed cheeks. He reached out to Jungkook to hold onto him, in order to help himself stand up right.

"Hyung? Hyung, let's go into your office. It'll be better if we talked there."

Jimin didn't respond but he followed Jungkook as they walked out of the hall and into his office. Jungkook closed the door carefully and locked it behind himself before dragging a chair in front of Jimin's swivel chair.

"Spill. What's been keeping you so down?"

Jimin raised his head, teeth sunken into his plump, pink lips. He sniffled a couple of times before wiping his face dry with the back of his arm.

"I- I almost kissed Hoseok. Jungkook, I- I'm in love with him."

"Minnie! Minnie! Happy new year!" Hyuntae exclaimed once he saw Jimin.

Jimin gave him a genuine smile and walked up to him with open arms. He lifted the little boy up pecked his cheek.

"Happy new year, Hyunnie."

Jimin and Jungkook had been talking in his office for a while. Jungkook was taken aback by Jimin's sudden confession whereas Jimin was sobbing, feeling terrible for what he's done to Yoongi. He felt terrible.

He loved someone else alongside the one he is supposed to give his whole heart to. Despite Jimin's thoughts, Jungkook put it into perspective for him. He told him he would have to tell Yoongi of his feelings for Hoseok and possibly discuss Yoongi's feelings toward him which could lead them to be in a polygamous relationship. Jimin tried to see the brighter side of his feelings for Hoseok but he was always directed back to him believing he was being disloyal to Yoongi and that he deserved better.

Jungkook had managed to get Jimin to at least agree to talk to Yoongi about how they felt about Hoseok and if it came to a point where they would discuss it further then they would. Jimin just hoped Hoseok would agree with whatever decision they reach.

When they had left the office, they had come to see that Taehyung and Yoongi had sorted out the hall with decorations and the music was already playing as the party had started.

"Minnie, I brought Woo Woo with me! He wanted to come with- with his girlfriend!"

Jimin's eyebrow raised. "Woo Woo has a girlfriend?"

Hyuntae nodded vigorously as he giggled. "T-that's why he's never home and Appa, he- he-"

The little boy cut himself off as he gleeful smile dropped. He beckoned to Jimin making him lean into his so he could whisper to him.

"Appa teaches Woo Woo lessons. He's hurting Woo Woo really really bad." He whispered.

Jimin pulled away from Hyuntae to get a good look at him. His eyes were wide with shock, fear and worry and he wasn't sure how to display his feelings. He want even sure if he should question Hyuntae further, he was only a child, and a child should never have to experience abuse wether it's direct or an example.

"Moon Sik! Moon Soo!" Hyuntae cried out as he begun to wriggled around in Jimin's hold.

"I gonna see you again! I'm gonna play with Moon Sik and Moon Soo!" He announced to Jimin.

The older put the little boy down and watched him run off to his friends with a wide grin on his face. Not tonight. He couldn't speak to him tonight and ruin his fun. He would have to wait, but he had a bad feeling about waiting. He knows it's occurring and he can stop it if he takes the right steps and measures.

"Jimin-ah." A deep, familiar voice called out.

Jimin froze, eyes widening like a deer caught in headlights as he turned around to face Hoseok.

"Ho- Hoseok hyung..."

The older man gave the younger a bright smile. "Hi."

"Hey... Do- do you have the mix? For the kids routines?"

"Yeah, I finished it last night. Sorry I'm kind of late, I got held up." He apologised.

Jimin shook his head. "It's fine hyung. As long as you're here now."

"Jimin!" A parent called out joyously.

"I-"

"Yeah go, don't let me hold you up. See you later, Min-ah." Hoseok spoke with a warm smile on his face.

In response, Jimin gave him a small smile before turning away to talk to the parent.
