(half of this story is very much inspired by 'you', if joe hadn't been such a creeper he'd be the best boyfriend.)

Cole Sprouse was a great boyfriend. Lili hadn't known that when she started dating him, but over time, it became very clear. And she had prove.

it was the way he held her hand;

It was a small, gentle gesture, but he knew the effect it had on her. She always melted into his touch, her hand gripping onto his.

He did it when she was nervous, when she felt anxious, or when he just wanted to show her some of his affection. He always knew when she needed it, when his touch was necessary.

It was in a lot of scenarios that he did it, sometimes unconsciously, mostly very conscious.

"I.. uh..I guess.." She stammered over her words as she tried to answer a question from the panel. Without a thought Cole snuck his hand under the table and threaded his fingers through hers.

He heard her little breath of relief, before starting to talking again.

Afterward, when they were backstage again, she pressed a loving kiss onto his lips while on her toes. "Thank you." He just smiled, not needing to answer.

It was one of their many mornings, one of those routine mornings that the couple created over time.

They awakened, limbs tangled into each other, barely any clothes on their bodies. It started with a short make out session, then a shower, then a quick round of sex, and then breakfast.

"Any wishes for breakfast, my dear?" Cole asked her, his voice a mix of sleep and a british accent.

"Waffles!" She mumbled from the bed, wrapped up in the silky sheets as she looked at him, love in her eyes.

"Waffles coming up!" He grinned, opening a cabinet and taking the batter for his self-made waffles out.

10 minutes later he walked over to their bed, pressed a kiss to her forehead with a sweet whisper, "Breakfast is ready." She smiled sleepily, climbing out of the bed and hopping over to the table.

Before she could sit down, he pulled her into his lap and laced his fingers through hers, needing to feel her touch. Needing her to feel his love.

"I know." She whispered by the nape of his ear, and no more words were necessary.

it was the way he kissed her out of jealousy;

He wasn't the type to be jealous, or feel envy, but when it came to her, he had no stop. With the beauty she contained, he needed to stake his claim, and he needed to do it a lot.

It didn't happen so often, but it was way too much for Cole's liking.

Lili could always see when his jealousy kicked in. His eyes turned into pure envy, it was this grumbled look that no one else could pull off.

Lili would giggle into herself as he stepped up to her and the guy she was talking to, because she knew what was about to happen.

"Evan, hey!" She said, sweetly pulling the man into a hug. "Haven't seen you in so long!"

"I know! How have you been?" He asked her, gently touching her arm.

In the corner of her eyes she could already see Cole staring at them with a resentful look in his eyes.

The couple were at a party, and she didn't know Evan was going to be here, he was her former best friend. Now that he was, she absolutely loved it, for two very opposite reasons.
