-1 week later-
It was the next Saturday. I was back home now from California. I wanted to say goodbye to Jeremiah but I didn't think that would be the best thing to do right now. Mattia and I weren't really on speaking terms and the boys didn't know. I was just finishing all the school work that I missed when I got a text.

I put my phone down. Mattia was being a petty little bitch. I got another notification. This time it was a text from jeremiah.

jeremiah:
hey. you back in ni?

me:
yes. sorry i never said bye

jeremiah:
it's all good. how are you?

me:
i've been a lot better.

jeremiah:
why, what's up?

me:
mattia

jeremiah:
what happened?

me:
we got into another fight. that girl, cynthia, that we ran into send mattia a picture of us together and he got really mad so he said he wants a break from me then went to hang out with cynthia

jeremiah:
you realize that cynthia is doing that on purpose

me:
what?

jeremiah:
luna, why would she send a picture of you with another guy to him? she probably wants to break up your relationship. she's an instigator.

me:
you're right omg. how did i not realize that

jeremiah:
i'm sorry you gotta go thru this luna

me:
it's okay

jeremiah:
i gotta go. i have a game. cheer up luna

me:
good luck!

I decided to go on a walk to clear my head. I walked by kairi's house and saw the guys playing basketball outside. Oh my gosh why did I go this way? I started walking quickly with my head down.
"Luna!" Alvaro said.
"Fuck my life" I whispered to myself.

I looked at them and faked a smile.
"Come ball with us!" Kairi said.
"Oh you know I'm bad at basketball" I said.
"We miss you Luna" Alejandro said.
"Aw I miss you guys too" I said.
"Come on Luna" Alejandro said throwing the basketball at me.

I caught it and shot it all the way from the sidewalk and made it. They all said,
"Oooh!" except for mattia.

I walked up to them and Mattia looked very uncomfortable.

"I got pizza let's go eat" Kairi said.

We all started walking inside and Mattia and I tried to walk in the door at the same time and bumped into eachother.

"Oh sorry" I said.
"Go ahead" Mattia said.
"No you go ahead" I said.
"No it's okay" Mattia said.

I walked inside. Why does this have to be so awkward? He's out here acting like he didn't just take my virginity last week. Okay Mattia. I grabbed a slice of pizza and sat on the couch next to Alejandro. They were watching some soccer game but I was on my phone. I scrolled through tik tok then looked at my account.
"Oh my gosh guys! I hit 1 million followers on tik tok!" I said.
"Congrats!" Alejandro said.
"Congrats Luna!" Alvaro said.
"Nice!" Kairi said.
"Thought you didn't care about followers" Mattia said quietly.
"Just because we're on a break or whatever doesn't mean you have to be a dick" I said getting up.
"Thanks for having me Kai, but I'm gonna go" I said.
"Oh..." Alejandro and Alvaro said.
"Oh um bye Luna" Kairi said.

I started walking to the front door and heard Kairi say,
"What the fuck is your problem, Mattia?"

I shut the door and started to walk home. It was already dark outside. I put my hood up and walked quickly. I heard a car drive behind me. They started to slow down and pull up next to me. The window rolled down and I heard a voice say,
"Need a ride?"

I looked inside of the car and said,
"Dylan you scared the shit out of me"
"I'm sorry. Need a ride though?" He asked.
"That would be nice" I said walking around to the passenger seat.

I got into Dylan's car and he started to drive.

"So you're back?" He asked.
"Yeah" I said.
"How was your trip?" He asked.
"Shit. A few parts of it were good but it just all blew up into flames towards the end" I said twirling my hair.
"What happened?" Dylan asked.
"I don't-um-I don't really wanna talk about it right now" I told him.
"I understand. It's okay" He said.

There was silence between us for a few minutes then Dylan said,
"We got 100% on that project we did by the way"
"Really?" I asked.
"Yup" He said.
"Good job" I said.
"It was all you" He said.
"Thank you" I said.

He pulled up to my house.
"Thank you for the ride, Dylan, I really appreciate it" I said getting out of the car.
"You're welcome" He said.
"Bye" I said and shut the car door.

I walked into my house and Dylan drove away. My house was pretty quiet. I filled up a cup of water from the kitchen and went up to my room. I shut my door then I changed out of my hoodie into an oversized t shirt and plaid pajama pants. I turned off my lights and put my water down. I laid in my bed and stared out the window. I saw Mattia's bedroom light turn on. So many thoughts ran through my mind. I didn't know if I was the one who should apologize in this situation honestly. I didn't want to lose Mattia but I hate this side of him. We've been through so much I don't want to mess up our relationship or even our friendship. I don't want to mess up my friendship with the boys either because of this. Mattia and I can barely be in the same room as each other, we're never gonna all be able to hang out while Mattia and I are still on this 'break'. Maybe I need to just give everyone a break from me...

(author's note: danggg 2 updates in 1 day i'm so proud lmao🥰 i wanna tell my parents abt this story cause i'm honestly really proud of myself and how much i've grown since I first posted part 1 but i don't want my parents to ask to read it or sum cause that would be so awkward haha)
