Betty held her door open for you both, as you exited her home.
You both thanked her, for all of her help.
"That's ok dears...you both be careful" she said, smiling.
"Look after yourself, try and stay in for now, we'll sort this out" you replied, heading down her path and through the gate.
You and Yaz began to head down the cobbled street, towards where you had been told people had been re-appearing.
"Are you sure you're alright Yaz, that angel coming out of the screen like that! You must have been terrified!" you exclaimed.
"I'm ok now thanks...it was horrible, I thought it was going to touch me!" she replied.
"I wasn't going to let that happen" you said, with a kind smile.
"Thanks again, for your quick thinking!" Yaz replied.
You were walking past the other little cottages.
"There are four more cottages..." you started to say.
"Ten" Yaz suddenly said.
"No, four?" you replied, confused.
"Yeah, I know there are four" Yaz said, returning your confused look.
"You said ten" you answered.
"No I didn't..." Yaz replied.
You just shook your head slightly and dropped it.
"Do you think it's worth talking to anyone else? I think we probably got more than enough information from Betty" you laughed.
"Yeah, lets just head down and see if we can find any of the others" Yaz replied.
The moon was still brightly glowing in the sky, lighting your path.
You came to the edge of the trees, you could hear the sound of a flowing river, close by.
"Have you got your torch?" you asked Yaz, a feeling of unease creeping within you again, at the thought of heading into the dark and daunting trees.
"Yep" Yaz said, switching it on.
"Nine" she said.
"What?" you asked her.
She looked at you, like you were crazy.
"I said yep...and I turned the torch on" Yaz answered.
"Yeah, and then you said nine..." you replied with a raised brow.
"What?" Yaz questioned, frowning slightly.

"I think I'd remember saying that" Yaz said, giving you a weird look.
You just thought that she must be winding you up.
