3rd Person POV

The quinjet landed on the outside platform of Avengers Tower. The wings of the jet folding in as it was pulled inside a small area of tower made to hold it. As soon as the door opened, Natasha rushed off with Clint, being met by medics and Dr. Cho as they went through a door and into the tower. Everyone else left the quinjet, leaving you, Tony and Steve on board.

You looked to the door, seeing Maria Hill enter, a tablet in her hand. "Lab's all set up, boss." She called out to Tony who was in the pilots seat still. Tony turned around in his chair, noticing it was Maria.

"Oh, actually, he's the boss." Tony said, pointing to Steve who was on the ground checking something. "I just pay for everything and design everything and make everyone look cooler."

You began walking over to Maria, same as Steve. "Speaking of looking cooler. You said you were working on a new outfit and weapon for me?" You asked, looking over your shoulder at Tony. He looked like he was about to answer that before stopping.

"I'm afraid you'll have to wait and see." He said with a small smile. He walked past you, giving you a pat on the back before exiting the ship. It was a little weird to you, but you forgot about it for now.

"Word on Strucker?" Steve asked, glancing at the tablet Maria was holding for a moment.

"NATO's got him." She replied. You thought he got off easy. If anything you should've been using a weapon rather than just punching him.

"The other two?" You asked. She gave you a confused look before realising you meant the enhanced. She looked down at her tablet before beginning to show you and Steve as you all began to slowly exit the quinjet.

"Wanda and Pietro Maximoff. Twins." She stated. The tablet showed the two at what looked like a rally or a riot. "Orphaned at 10 when a shell collapsed their apartment building." If you had a pen and paper you'd have written 'life got flip turned upside down at the age of 10' for your list of shit you had in common with these two. "Sokovia's had a rough history. It's nowhere special, but it's on the way to everywhere special."

You entered into the tower, beginning to approach an elevator as Steve asked the next question. "Their abilities?" You still didn't know what the guy could do, you'd never actually seen him.

"He's got increased metabolism and improved thermal homeostasis. Her thing is neuroelectric interfacing, telekinesis, mental manipulation." Maria explained. Steve just gave here a confused glance as he understood none of what she just said. You sighed before deciding to spare Maria her breath.

"He's super fast, she can move things with her mind and mess with yours." You stated, seeing him understand a bit more, giving you a nod.

"Well, they're gonna show up again." Steve said. The elevator beeped indicating the door was about to open.

"Agreed. File says they volunteered for Strucker's experiments." She added. It surprised you to hear that someone would volunteer for something like that. But your best guess was they wanted the power to fight against someone. That someone was still to be determined. Both you and Steve walked into the elevator.

"What kind of monster would let a German scientist experiment on them to protect their country?" Steve asked with an expression you couldn't properly read. You couldn't tell if he was being smug or if he was being serious.

"We're not at war, Captain." Maria responded. Considering you had to fight a war not so long ago, the idea of being told you weren't at war made you feel like she was jinxing it.

"They are." He stated as the doors closed. The elevator ride was awkwardly quiet after that. Too awkward, so you decided to try break the tension.

"So, uh, you think the ol' wolf trick would work on them?" You questioned, scratching the back of your head. In your mind there was a 8 out of 10 chance of success if you tried that.

"Wolf trick?" He looked at you confused. He had no clue what you meant by 'wolf trick' and it certainly didn't sound good.

"Y'know? Turn into a wolf, approach nice and slow, get them to think I'm just a dog wanting pats, then boom. Turn back to normal, yell 'surprise bitches' and knock em out?" You didn't realise how much enthusiasm you put into that until after. Steve just sighed and looked the other way. You weren't sure if it's because he was still confused or because he was tired of your shit. "Sorry, sorry. Language, I know." You mumbled, seeing him facepalm.

Tony's POV

"So, does Y/N know yet?" Romanoff asked from her corner next to Barton. It was a little surprising she hadn't said anything, but she's a spy, it made sense she'd keep quiet for now.

"Not yet." I paused between words for dramatic effect. Placing Barton's drink down. Not only was the party tonight a victory party, it was also going to be a surprise birthday party for a certain wolf. I still couldn't help but think about the vision I had. Seeing the kid on the ground like that.

"I've gotta say, the modifications we made. I think he's gonna like them." Bruce chimed in, pulling me out of my thoughts. We put a lot of work into modifying both his guns and sword, along with creating a completely new outfit.

"What did you actually do to the kid's stuff?" Clint asked with a small groan.

"We implemented some conductors into his Beretta 87 Targets that will allow him to focus his powers into bullets. We did the same for the sword. The tip can be used as a single shot rifle." Bruce explained. It took a lot of working, but it would be worth it to see the kid's face.

"What about the outfit?" Clint questioned, turning to look at me.

"We created an entirely new set of clothes, more casual looking than the current ones. And we also made scrapped the cloak and went for a lab coat sort of design." I stated. I couldn't help but feel proud of my own accomplishment, and of Banner for helping. Speaking of Banner, I had something to show him.
