"y/n! hurry the fuck up or we're leaving without you!"

it was the day your team was leaving for nationals.

and of course, you were late.

"wait wait wait wait wait wait wait!" you yelled, running onto the bus, out of breath.

"if you arrived two minutes later, we'd have left," suna told you, rolling his eyes.

you knew he was only joking—the team would never actually ditch you—they would only be extremely annoyed if you made them late.

"sorry sorry," you apologized to a glaring suna, a stern-looking kita, and the rest of the team who couldn't contain their amusement.

"it's fine," ojiro laughed. "what made you late?"

as you took your seat next to atsumu, you answered, "well, you see... i may or may not have stayed up until like 3 in the morning because i was binge watching anime."

you caught suna and osamu roll their eyes from your peripheral vision.

"why is our manager like this?" suna groaned.

kita looked like he wanted to say something, but since the bus started driving, he was forced to return to his seat—which was luckily in the front.

because inarizaki is a ~~sUpEriOr~~ school, you guys were able to get a coach bus that took you to nationals—even though there was only ten players, two coaches, and their manager.

but why not get a free coach bus with fifty seats?👽

#superior🙇‍♀️

atsumu, suna, osamu, and you were in the back of the bus, kita and aran were in the front, while everyone else was spread out in the middle.

"what's our plan for the next six fucking hours?" osamu asked you guys.

from hyogo to tokyo—where the spring high nationals is held—is roughly a six and a half bus ride.

such a great team bonding opportunity😵‍💫

"sleep," atsumu told his twin. "it's so early."

"it's eight in the morning."

"exactly. which means it's time to sleep," atsumu grinned, pulling out a blanket and pillow.

you heard suna whisper "lazy fuck," under his breath, but atsumu—who was making a blanket fort—didn't hear him.

"y/n, wanna come in my fort?" atsumu asked you, his eyes gleaming.

you swear, atsumu is still a three year-old at heart.

"sure," you said, going under the blankets. "goodnight suna and samu, we're sleeping."

"it's mornin—" suna was about to say, but stopped when osamu tapped his shoulder and took out his computer.

"and we're watching netflix. bye," osamu winked at you.

"don't wink. you look like oikawa."

"i'm not a playboy like atsumu," osamu stuck out his tongue at you.

seeing that atsumu was about to start another fight with his brother, you quickly changed the topic.

"you should watch anime," you suggested to the pair.

"no," suna immediately said.

"why? anime brings me so much happiness," you told them. "i recommend attack on titan, the promised neverland, yuri on ice, banana fish, and haiky—"
