bonus!

"how badly do you think we're going to die?"

miya atsumu sighed. "for the last time: we are not going to die! because she'll never know."

atsumu paused, as if suddenly unsure. "...right?"

suna scoffed. "this is your mess."

"it's always tsumu's mess," osamu pointed out as he held onto his sushi.

"no, you don't understand. she's going to kill me."

all eyes fell onto shirabu.

suna raised his eyebrow. "yeah. she is."

shirabu cringed. "why did i ever listen to you guys?"

"i dunno. i'm just here for fun."

"shut up minho. nobody asked."

and this was where several individuals found themselves on a rainy afternoon day.

individuals who just so happened to be your friends.

although...after this, maybe that term will be changed.

(LOL jkjk...but like only kinda...)

and that was the scene a certain kiyoomi sakusa found himself in as he entered the room.

"hey tsumu, did you—,"

sakusa stopped, as if reading the tension in the air.

"don't tell me," he sighed in annoyance. "you all committed a murder, didn't you?"

sakusa backed out of the room to leave. "i was never involved, bye."

atsumu groaned. "omi wait."

"nope. this is your mess again, isn't it?"

"yeah, it is," suna rolled his eyes at his friend. "it always is."

sakusa didn't look shocked to hear the news. "mm, yeah. i'm leaving."

but before anyone else could say another word, a phone ring filled the air.

"ooh!"

minho pulled out his phone, his face brightening at the small device.

"everyone shut up," he silenced the room.

the ring continued as minho smiled.

"lana's calling."

to say the least, nobody was surprised.

for one, sakusa was not.

he was, however, unimpressed.

"oh my god."

"stop criticizing!" atsumu pouted. "it was a good plan."

"it was shit," shirabu rolled his eyes. "and because of you, i'm going to die."

sakusa looked like he was going to explode of annoyance. "y/n needs better friends."

"hey!" minho pouted. "i didn't even do anything. it was all atsumu."

the germaphobe did not stop. "i cannot believe you guys tried to set y/n and kageyama up. and i also cannot believe you all lied to y/n, making her think that she failed, just so kageyama can be there to comfort her."

atsumu cringed slightly. "when you put it like that... it makes it sound a lot worse."

"it is worse," sakusa rolled his eyes. "jesus christ."

shirabu looked crestfallen. "i shouldn't have listened to atsumu."

"no, you shouldn't have," sakusa sighed. "but let's hear the whole story again."

atsumu reluctantly spoke up. "basically, shirabu had told y/n to deliver a file that's supposedly due at noon today. so basically y/n thought she failed. but in reality, it was due tomorrow, so there's no way y/n actually fails. and then, lana made sure kageyama was in the same place to meet y/n. the end."

minho held up his phone, showing lana on facetime. "and lana just told us that y/n and kageyama were just sitting on a bench together. and then they went to kageyama's dorm."

"but shirabu texted y/n halfway because he regretted making y/n sad," osamu finished, still eating his sushi.

sakusa looked exhausted. "you guys are impossible."

minho piped up suddenly. "are we even sure y/n and kageyama like each other?"

"y/n does."

this time, all heads were directed towards suna.

he stated plainly. "she might never admit it, but she loves him."

the room went silent.

"are...you okay?" osamu looked towards his best friend.

suna gave a small smile. "why wouldn't i be?"

"you're in love with—,"

sakusa interrupted the sullen conversation.

"what's done is done," he sighed. "there's no changing what already happened."

atsumu looked like he wanted to say something, but sakusa continued.

"they didn't need your help," the tall germaphobe stated. "unlike some of us, y/n and kageyama already were fated. and some fates..." he broke off. "they'll be together no matter what."

the room once again went silent.

but this time, it was a peaceful one, almost.

and atsumu broke it, as always.

"we're still making sure that y/n never finds out...right?"

the whole room collectively groaned.

sakusa hit his friend on the arm. "you never change, do you?" and the amusement was clear in his voice.

maybe this is fate.

no matter where it comes from, or where it goes...

fate will find you.

and each of these individuals?

they were fated.
