"can someone make sure that i'm always in y/n's group no matter what?"

you rolled your eyes at the copper-haired boy in front of you.

"don't expect me to do 90% of your homework again," you arched a brow before a smile grew on your face.

"we're done!" nari grinned at your group as the bell marked the end of class.

today was the day of the group presentation.

and everything went perfectly. all the information, the powerpoint and the analysis were presented smoothly—and even your professor was impressed.

now, you'd have a few days of (slight) relaxation as other groups in your class present for the next couple of days.

if only your social life was going as successfully as your academics.

"i would say this was fun...but it wasn't. so bye," kunimi yawned.

"i'm leaving too; i got practice," shirabu stated as he walked away with kunimi, giving you a wave goodbye.

"but y/n?" kunimi called back before he walked out of the room.

"hm?"

"thanks for carrying the team. i'll miss working in the same group as you."

you waved goodbye to kunimi and shirabu as they left you and nari standing behind.

"you're coming to the volleyball match today, right?" nari gave you an excited look.

"i'm debating whether or not to show up," you told her with a small smile.

later this afternoon would be the first match of the kyoto university volleyball team. after all of their practices, it was time.

and they would be playing tokyo.

"you're worried about kageyama?"

you nodded. "it's not just that..." you paused. "it's like i can just feel the drama that would happen if i show up."

because tokyo meant oikawa.

and oikawa, kageyama, and you in the same room?

not a good combination.

but then again, you yearned to see oikawa again. it would be worth everything just to see him after so long. and of course, you wanted to be there for your friends at their first match.

but the drama that would happen if you were there...

"you shouldn't let kageyama decide your life," nari reminded you with a huff. "that piece of shit doesn't even deserve to be in the same room as room—and you shouldn't let someone like him affect your decision."

you thought it over.

nari's right.

why should kageyama stop you from seeing your friend again?

besides, it's not like you'd be the one that'd cause the drama... and even if you weren't there, something would definitely still happen between kageyama and oikawa.

"okay."

nari looked proud as you continued.

"yeah okay. i'll come," you sighed. "i should be there."

guess i should prepare myself for a world of drama, huh?

"kageyama can screw himself," nari rolled her eyes in distaste. "piece of fucking shit...if he tries anything then he's gonna feel my wrath."
