it was now close to midnight, and you were staring out the window of the coach bus as you saw the last lights of tokyo fade away into the distance.

after visiting the skytree, everyone had gone their separate ways—the other schools had arranged for their buses to pick them up—and inarizaki was now on the way back home.

unfortunately, there was still a three hour ride left until you would all be back in hyogo.

parting ways with everyone had been a painful one, and your heart ached as you wondered when you'd be able to see everyone together again.

you sighed. you knew that you were going to miss bokuto's constant mood swings, akaashi's gentle presence, sakusa's germaphobe habits, kuroo's science jokes, and kenma's stylished bleached hair.

but most of all, you'll miss kageyama.

a small part of your happiness seemed to have gone away with kageyama—which was weird considering you've only spent about a week actually around him.
