good ol' normality.

hard to come by, hard to keep.

and frankly, in the rare times where normality is present, it's honestly a little dull.

(it's like they always say: the grass is always greener.)

surprisingly for you, everything in your life seemed to have resumed as normal as could be.

well, actually. you suppose that the statement above would only be partially true.

one, because it's only technically been one day since the whole 'situation' got solved—which really isn't enough time for normality to sink in.

(see: backstabbing of nari followed by a very unfortunate heartbreak of an ex-friend, finishing with a drunk night of enchanting dreams.)

and two, because not everything was normal. not anymore, anyway.

for another, you have been determined to avoid kageyama everywhere—no matter what.

and before your inner conscious starts screaming at you... { ahem. } you really did have reasons to avoid him.

because to your defense, if you did see kageyama, it would sorta ruin the whole dream of closure.

a part of you was also scared.

the next time you see kageyama, you didn't know if you'd feel anger, sadness, or pain.

maybe you'd feel all of them.

or maybe none of them.

and maybe, that's what scared you the most.

you sighed as you placed your books back into your bag.

your first day of class (wow. class. it's been so long since your life has been concerned about this mundane activity, hasn't it?) flew by in a blur.

subconsciously, you looked to the right of your seat.

as if a certain someone would still be sitting there.

as fucking if.

you finished packing your things up in silence before you walked out of the lecture hall.

ever since that day...in the medical room, you haven't seen nari.

oh, jeong nari.

it will be over for her when you finally find her again. absolutely fucking over.

it was just unfortunate that she seemed to be avoiding you the same way you were avoiding kageyama.

nonetheless, this was something you were not going to let slide. not for someone like nari.

just as you were thinking about the wrath of hell you'd release onto the world, a voice entered your thoughts.

"yo y/n."

you turned to see a familiar face.

you smiled. "hi shirabu. been a while."

"yeah," he chuckled. "the last time i saw you, you were running out the gym crying."

you raised an eyebrow. "you were there that day?"

he winked. "i'm everywhere."

you punched him gently.

"by the way," shirabu asked slowly, "how's the whole thing with nari?"

well, i want to murder her. how's that?

you sighed. "not well. i don't know where the hell she is but i'm going to beat her ass when i find her."

shirabu said nothing as he merely stared at you, a soft look on his face.
