whatever you had expected kageyama to say, it sure has hell wasn't that.

"i'm sorry?" you asked, thinking you had heard him wrong.

"don't be sorry. fill up my water."

you scoffed. "excuse me?"

his dark blue eyes were far from clear, and they glared at you dangerously.

"i said," kageyama repeated, "to fill up my water."

is this bitch fr?🪆

"no," you rolled your eyes.

who did kageyama think he was?

"i'm supposed to be helping nekoma," you told the fuming setter. "and i'm not your servant so—"

"y/n." his voice came in a low growl, sending shivers down your back.

his eyes were blank, not giving anything away. "maybe if you were actually a good manager, then you'd be able to get your job done," he taunted.

what the fuck—

"go away," you turned away from kageyama. "now, kuroo, i can take your water for you—"

you had reached out to grab kuroo's water bottle, but before your hand even made contact to the middle blocker, kageyama yanked your wrist towards him.

"what the fuck?" you grumbled, trying to yank your wrist back. "let go of me."

"no."

"let. go. of. me." you enunciated each individual syllable.

all kageyama did was glare at you. you glared back, not breaking his intense look.

your mind raked, trying to understand why kageyama was acting this way.

it's not like i did anything to him—it should be me who's mad ffs.

but as you continued to think, your mind led to one possibility.

an unlikely one—but could he be...
