let's kill this love.

let's. kill. this. love.

you smiled to yourself, wiping away your tears.

you didn't know how, but within a few hours, you managed to (mostly) pull yourself together.

whether it was from talking with minho or oikawa, or from the mental ted talks...you were back.

because you couldn't spend the rest of your life crying, could you now?

you had vowed that you would leave all the tears in the past, along with everything else.

it was as if you realized that you didn't give a shit.

actually correction: you realized you shouldn't give a shit.

deep down, you of course couldn't help but give a shit.

how could you not?

you doubted you'd ever be able to fully cut yourself off from the boy that once meant so much to you...

but that didn't mean that you weren't going to try.

somehow, you could push your emotions far back enough to convince yourself that it didn't matter.

and the band aid was back, overtop of your eternally healing heart.

nonetheless, the band-aid works. (for now, at least).

you breathed in. minho and oikawa really were good at helping you mend.

slowly, you heard a soft knock at the door.

you knew who it was before you even heard the voices.

"y/n?"

"hi tsumu," you sighed, your voice steadier than earlier.

"can we come in?" osamu asked, but he was interrupted by another demanding voice.

"open the fucking door."

"suna! what did we say about the plan?"

"the plan was fucking dumb."

"the plan was originally for us to talk so you wouldn't be all blunt and rude."

"the plan was shit."

"you're shit."

"what did you just say to me?"

"oh want me to say it again? you're s h i t."

you opened the door before the bickering outside could get even farther. surprisingly, you found yourself giving a small laugh.

if anything, i have my friends.

"y/n!" your best friend jumped at the opened door. "oh..." he trailed off, looking at you. "you kinda look like shit."
