When Lily left Matt Cruz's office, she didn't know what to say. She could hear Rossi and Emily talking but somehow their words didn't make any sense in her head. She was so numb she didn't even notice she had stopped walking. That was, until Emily placed a soft hand in her arm, causing her to jump slightly.

"Lily..." She whispered, as the woman took a deep breathe.

"I didn't know." She said. "I swear, I didn't know, I... He said he was going to Houston, I didn't know he... Why would he... Em, I'm scared."

"It's okay, Lily. It isn't your fault." She assured, as she placed a hand over her friend's as it rested on her, now, quite protruding stomach.

Lily nodded and pulled her hand back to grab her necklace like she always did when she was nervous. With another deep breathe she walked away from the two other Agents who got the unexpected news leaving them a few meter behind her.

"This is bad." Rossi whispered, as they followed Lily into the bullpen.

"I know." Emily gulped.

"It doesn't make sense."

"What's wrong?" JJ asked. Her question was to Lily, if she was being honest, but the second he saw Prentiss and Rossi walking into the bullpen looking almost as distressed as Lily, she knew something was really off.

"Reid is in jail." Emily answered, glancing just slightly at Lily, who whimpered lowly and allowed herself to lean against Spencer's desk.

"Jail?" Garcia gasped, in a second running to stand by her best friend.

"In Mexico." Emily nodded.

"What the hell is he doing down there?" Luke frowned.

"I don't know. I didn't talk to him. The call came in to Cruz from their lead investigator."

"What's he being held for?" JJ asked.

"Drug possession, with intent to distribute." Rossi answered.

"What type of drugs?" Luke asked.

"Cocaine and heroin." Emily responded.

"Oh, my God." JJ shook her head. "This can't be happening."

"We need Lewis and Walker here asap." Emily said and when the whole team turned to Lily who was usually the one to make every phone call, they all grimaced when she reached for her back pocket and gave her work cell phone to Penelope, who quickly grabbed and threw an arm over her shoulders, cradling her best friend close to her chest.

"Yeah. I can call them." She hastily said, too confused by the whole situation to even say anything else. "I can do that."

"This has got to be Scratch. He was laying low. Now we know why." Tara said through the phone as Emily, Rossi, Luke and Lily flew to Matamoros to meet with the Officer who had called them in once they learned Spencer was an FBI Agent.

"Crossing the border as a fugitive is a huge risk." Walker said.

"The reward is greater." Emily retorted. "He's been punishing the team. Now his target is Reid."

"Peter Lewis dropped off the map after attacking Tara's family. Maybe he's been hiding in Mexico this whole time." Rossi offered.

"We also have to consider this isn't related to him." Luke said.
