FINALLY! IT'S DONE!!
Kinda short but gets to the point of the chapter and I think that's good enough. Halloween and FNaF 2 one shots are SO FREAKING OVERDUE-!! Anyways enjoyyythisficissocursedatthispoint-
Freddy paced back and forth, up and down the hallway. Across from him, Cody was sitting on the floor working on a crossword puzzle.
The boy looked up. "If you don't stop pacing, you're gonna make me sick." Cody gagged.
"Aren't you working on your puzzle?" Freddy turned to Cody.
"The point is," Cody retorted. "If you're so worried, Y/N's literally right there in her room." He pointed. Freddy turned around, and just as he did, Dorothy exited the room.
"Hey guys...." She waved tiredly.
"Woah! Are you okay?" Cody asked.
"Yeah, you look a little, uh..." Freddy trailed off. Dorothy only nodded and walked to the living room. Cody followed her with a concerned expression.
Freddy started to follow, but he stopped himself. Nah, they'll be fine, he thought. He turned around and slowly walked into Y/N's bedroom.
You were turned on your side, facing away from Freddy. He watched your back peacefully rise and fall and a small smile spread onto his face. He tiptoed to the side of your bed and eased himself down on the edge.
Luckily, you remained sound asleep.
Freddy glanced up. Neither Dorothy or Cody were by the door—he could hear them in the other side of the house. He grazed his fingers over your arm and leaned over, hoping to catch a glimpse of your face.
It's been four days. He was rarely ever able to leave the basement, and when he was, he was never really able to catch a glance of your face. He's come during the night, but there was so much in that room alone that he could knock over on accident and wake everyone up.
So no, seeing you was not much of an option.
He didn't even know how well you were doing. So he worried.
"Freddy!" Cody whisper-scolded from the doorway.
Funtime Freddy jumped back up off your bed and sent Cody a "what the heck?" look. When the boy gestured behind him, Freddy sighed and left the room, meeting Cody and Dorothy outside.
"So?" Freddy said bluntly.
"SO, we have to stay away from Y/N." Cody said.
"But I'm a robot! Robots can't get sick!"
"But robots CAN wake up Y/N, and she needs all the sleep she can get!"
Funtime Freddy raised his hand to argue, but then he processed what Cody had said. Yeah, he was gonna have to calm down. He lowered his hand in defeat.
"Fine," he said, walking into the living room. Cody released a sigh. "And by the way your parents are home!" Freddy called.
"FREDDY!" Cody yelled.
"I know, I know, I'm going now."
The basement door shut just as the front door opened.
"Hey, are you guys okay?" Y/D/N called from the front. Cody rushed to his dad and started gushing with all the things he and Dorothy enjoyed doing together. Freddy frowned from his sitting position in the basement.
His ears perked up when he heard a creak from the basement door and he snapped back to the creepy stare into space. Y/N's dad stepped down half of the stairs and paused to look at Freddy. He had a slight frown on his face. Like he was disappointed.
Once Freddy was sure the man was gone before he huffed. "What's he so glum about?" He whispered to himself.

Y/N slowly opened her gunked up eyelids. The prickling sensation of the lights overhead caught into her eyesight. You winced and threw the covers over your head. You felt just a bit weaker than normal, but other than that, you were fine. Y/N sat up in the sheets and looked over herself in a mirror. Your hair was pretty much a mess. Your eyes were still a bit red, but that was about it. That and a stuffy nose, which was a big improvement of the day before. You heard some footsteps coming to your door.
Y/D/N peeked into your room and his eyes brightened to see you awake.
"Well, rise and shine, sleeping beauty! You feeling better?" He asked brightly.
You nodded meekly. "Yeah..."
"Well, that's great! On a scale from one to ten, ten being the worst, how do you feel? Yesterday was a six, right?"
You nodded again. "Today's a one or two."
"Yes!" He held up a hand in front of you and you gave him a high five. "So, uh....I have some news."
"Yeah, dad?"

Cody realized what was about to happen.
He opened the door to the basement, locked the door behind him, and rushed down the stairs.
"Kid, what are you doing-?" Cody jumped onto Freddy and pressed a button that caused Freddy's face plates to swing open. "Woah woah! Why can't I close them back up?!"
"Mom and dad can't hear us, right?"
"Yeah, if the door's closed." Freddy answered.
"Good." Cody pressed a button in the center of Freddy's endoskeleton face....shutting down his proximity sensors temporarily.
"Cody, why would you do that?!! I can't turn them back on!"
"At least for now," Cody jumped off of Freddy, out of breath from his sudden rush of adrenaline. The bear reached over and grabbed Cody. "What are you up to?" He growled.

"I'm actually sad to say this," Y/D/N said. He scratched the back of his head for a moment. "You know how hard I worked on Freddy, right? I mean, he looks great! And he was a great little surprise for your mom! But we've been kinda in the rough zone for a little bit because of some debt..."
He paused for a second. "Go on..." you ushered your sad.
He sighed. "Fazbear Entertainment called. They heard we have the original model of what they called 'Funtime Freddy' and they want to take him off our hands." Your face shattered. "I told Cody and he took it a little rough. I was worried for a second about how you would take it. You and Cody seem to like messing around with him, right?"
"Y-yeah! Yeah, nothing wrong here!" You choked out. "W-When are they taking him?"
"They didn't give me a specific date, but sometime by the end of this coming month."
By the end of July, you thought to yourself. I have a few more weeks at the most...
"That's all, sweet pea. We just needed to pick something up at the house, and we'll be on our way. Get better," he added before stepping out of the door.

"N-nothing, I swear!" Cody yelped.
"This is strange, Cody, even for you, to do this out of nowhere. What is going on?" Freddy pressed. The jingling keys came down the stairs and the door creaked.
Cody leaped off of Freddy and the bear put on a friendly expression.
"Oh, hi, kiddo." Y/D/N greeted solemnly.
"Hey, dad!"
"Me and your mom are heading back, okay? Just told Y/N the news."
"Oh, okay." Cody started to sweat under Freddy's stare. The front door closed and Freddy stood up.
"What news?" He hissed.
Cody stumbled back away from the bear and the basement door opened. Y/N stood there, exhausted. Freddy gasped dramatically and rushed over.
He slipped you into a hug. "Aww, what's the matter, lamb chop?"
You looked over Freddy's shoulder at Cody. He sent you the knowing look you both shared amongst yourselves. Freddy didn't know. Otherwise he would've gone ballistic by this point. You hugged him back and played along.
"I'm fine."
