I wanted to write a quick thing with Funtime Freddy just for the holidays but then the latest part of The Interviewed came out and KINDA revamped my love for Lefty...I like this idea better tho 👀
Oh yeah and then procrastination kicked in and welp the Christmas publishing date turned to late January 😛

The building was just barely lit. It was quite comfy, with the warm light and cold air softly brushing in. You were lucky to have brought a warm sweater and sweatpants to work, without being noticed. The stupid boss you had was still stubborn as ever about sticking to the uniform, even in the coldest of nights. It wasn't very warm, either. Luckily, you had the slightly warmer dayshift. Still freezing, though. You did still keep a little badge and security cap on to let people know you were an employee, not like a stalker or some random customer with no authority. No. You wanted them to know you ran the place. Ever since the incident with your little sister a few years ago, you've been paranoid as ever when it came to childrens' safety. Oh, yeah! She was almost kidnapped, twice in one day. You didn't know how it happened, heck you were no where near your family when it happened. You were on the other side of town when you got the call and the stories from your mom. You were furious. But anyway, yeah you were strict. And you took even more obligation to be when it came to a Fazbear restaurant. Thanks to all the weird crap happening around the company, you were not surprised to hear the animatronics talking to you, completely sentient of their identities and surroundings. You grew used to it in no time, but you did realize you would have to establish authority with the animatronics as well. Freddy helped a lot with that. He already takes on the role of leader in the band and is quite the rule follower. The Mediocre Melodies were not ones to try standing up to you as well as the Posh Animatronics.
The one outlier was Lefty. You couldn't figure them out. They never really talked to anyone, the lucky one occasionally being Freddy. They stayed on their own stage most of the time. You totally respected Lefty keeping to themselves. You considered yourself an omnivert, so you still appreciated the alone time you could get. Anyways, you have talked to Lefty before. They seemed very nice and their presence was soothing, in a way. You just couldn't seem to get anything across to them and it made you worry a bit. They seemed so out of it whenever you talked to them, it was almost like they were trying to ignore you.
No matter. You'd clock in for this shift and then the stress would be gone for a whole week. You had a week of winter all to yourself. Alone. In your apartment. Oh well. Now, on the matter of Lefty...
There was almost no one in the building. Made sense, it was Christmas Eve after all. It was a bit relieving as well to know there weren't dozens of kids at a time for you to watch. The few kids that were there were in the arcade with their parents, leaving you alone in one of the party rooms. The only other person in the area with you was Stacy running the arcade's prize corner. To your left, was, well..Lefty's stage. Then there was a main stage at the front of the room for the Mediocre Melodies. It was empty. But no matter. You'd seen them just moments ago heading to Parts and Service. They'd stay out of trouble, you trusted them. There was complete silence from Lefty's closed curtain. Huh. There was usually at least some kind of clicking sound when they're by themself. It was an articulate, calculating sound of some sort. You pushed the incoming detail aside and decided to clean off some of the tables. Should make the janitor's job a bit easier.
"Hey, Y/N, I'm gonna take a bathroom break. Mind keeping an eye on the counter for me?" Stacy asked. You whipped around to face her.
"Oh, sure!" You responded. The girl quickly left her post out of your sight. You resumed your work, but it wasn't long until something caught your attention. There was a post it note on the side of a table with some scribbled writing on it. It wouldn't have caught your attention if it didn't have your name clearly written on it.
"Dear Y/N, you are the best thing to come into my life. Your smile, voice and warm gaze never cease to give me the butterflies. Despite my efforts, I cannot help but to admire you from afar. I have tried to ever so patiently wait for the right time to approach you, and I feel this is the right time. I want to see you, to talk to you. Meet me by the parts and services door at 11:30 am. Thank you, OVUGB."
You folded the note and stuffed it in your pocket. You immediately did a double take on your surroundings. You didn't want to have some kind of stalker but that was what you feared you might have. You looked at the clock hanging above the stage. It read 10:20. You did highly consider this being a prank or some kind of trap, but your curiosity got the best of you for once. The chances of someone liking you were far too intriguing to ignore. You hurried on into the security office. You wondered if there were any security tapes of this "secret admirer".
