Peter might have forgotten to to the math homework from last night.
So naturally he needed to write down the answers quickly and naturally I was voted to try to stall the teacher.
So we'll Peter was quickly writing the answers down I walked up to the teachers desk and started to bull shit random ideas.
"Hey Mrs. brown how do you spell loofah?" I asked.
"What?"
"It's a bet between me and Ned we need to know how many people actually know how to spell loofah" I explained the fake bet.
"Oh alright well I think you would spell it l-o-o-p-h-a" she guessed.
"That's what I thought! but apparently it's spelled l-o-o-f-a-h"
"Really you would think it would be different"
"I know! It kinda makes since you would spell it like that but at the same time it doesn't"
"It really does, you and Ned ever think why it was named loofah?"
"No but we thought about spaghetti" I answered.
"That makes since too"
"I know, like how do you look at it and go 'ah he's a fine creation I shall name it loofah! Or spaghetti'. It doesn't make since!"
"It really doesn't, we could have had hair be called spaghetti and spaghetti called worms"
"We could have, honestly I like how it sounds now, hair and worm are such a weird word"
"That's true it's like it's just gross"
"EXACTLY"
"It's weird to think of all the other names things could have had"
"Yes and is time really correct, someone had to have made it up so what if they messed it up so what if it's all a lie"
"That could be true"
"Technically everything can be true if you try hard enough"
"Also true"
Out of the corner of my eye I saw Peter give me a thumbs up.
"Well loved this chat but I should go write down what you said so I don't forget" I said backing away.
"Have fun"
I gave the teacher a thumbs up and sat back down next to Peter.
"The loofah thing again?"
"It's a genuine question"
