Alex POV
I was out patrolling near a bunch of old wear houses when I heard a bunch of crashes coming from near by.
I grabbed my staff from my side and made it so it was a full staff and walked forward.
"Hellooo, who's there" I called
"Uh no one" a voice called back.
The voice was familiar but I couldn't place it.
"Come out I just wanna see who you are" I asked walking forward more.
"No thank you"
"Ohhhh your polite about it"
"Yes I am"
I could hear more crashing and loud noises.
"So it's late out what ya doing here"
"Oh ya know hanging around"
Wait I know this voice.
It Miles.
What the fuck is he doing out here.
"Sounds fun" I put my staff away on my hip and rounded another corner.
When I rounded the corner i got a surprise.
Miles was stuck to the ceiling by his hands. Just sitting there. (Hanging there?)
"You seriously made a pun about hanging around when your stuck to the ceiling" I deadpaned.
"Well what else was I supposed to do!"
"Nothing that was perfect, want some help getting down"
"No I got it" he struggled for a little bit before signing, "ya I need help"
"Figured" I climbed up some of the beams up to Miles.
"Just relax, be in the moment or something" I told him.
"I am in the moment it's a terrible moment!"
"Just relax, I'll catch you"
"WHAT"
"Try to unstick your self"
"How do you know I'm doing this by myself, I could be held hostage for all you know"
"I'm smart, and by the way your hands are sticking to the ceiling I'm gonna guess you didn't super glue yourself here and you just have some sort of powers that your trying to test out but got stuck" I told him.
"That's just a guess?"
"A good one, now relax I wanna see if you can get down on your own"
He took a breath in and tried to relax and suddenly one of his hands unstuck from the ceiling and then the other one.
He fell a short bit before I caught him (or Venom did) I lowered him to the floor and jumped down after him.
"So was my guess correct or is there another reason your out here?" I asked.
"You we're right, I got the powers a few weeks ago but I'm just trying to test them out now"
"How did you get the powers"
"I think a spider bit me, but I don't know" he shrugged.
"Cool, lemme call someone to help because I think I have a few ideas"
"Ok"
"Just stay here"
"Ok"
I walked away a few feet so Miles wouldn't hear me and called Peter (on my work phone)
"Hello" Pete answered.
"Hey spidey I need little help"
"What happened"
"Miles has powers"
"Really? What kind"
"Spider powers just like we thought, I was wondering if you could possibly help me out here since your the one with the spider powers here"
I heard some rustling before Peter answered "Ya I can do that were are you"
"You know those bunch of old wear houses we use to train"
"Ya"
"We're there, we'll be outside"
"Alright be there soon"
And with that he hung up. I walked back to Miles.
"Ok he should be here soon"
"Who?"
"Spider-Man"
