Nelson x Reader: My Safety

I walk down the hall of Syntec with my head down. I was headed to my Boss's office to hand him papers that his partner asked him to sign. I wasn't one who liked to talk to others while I was working just because I liked to get things done in a timely matter. It could also be that I was shy around a lot of the people here at Syntec. Hearing footsteps approach me from behind makes me tense up as I stop walking to see who was behind me. Scott Clarick, a scientist who worked at the laboratory in this particular building.

"Hey," Scott says to me.

"What can I do for you?" I ask quietly.

"So I know we barely know each other but I have been watching you for a while now. You are a gorgeous individual and I wanted to see if I could take you on a date" Scott says.

"Oh um," I say embarrassment flushing my cheeks "N-no, sorry"

I turn to walk away from him but Scott grabbed my wrist tightly. "Oh come on. Let me take you out on a date." He says.

"P-please let go. I don't want to go on a date with you" I stutter out in fear.

"You're so boring, Y/N. I could show you a whole new world of fun" Scott says backing me into the wall.

I squeak in fear as my back hits the wall. I drop the papers I was holding letting them crash to the floor with a loud thud. "P-please let go Scott" I whimper.

"Not until you agree to go on a date with me," Scott says trapping me to the wall.

"Scott, I suggest you let go of my assistant and step away from her" I hear a familiar voice say.

I turn to see my Boss, Nelson Syphus standing near us. He must have heard me drop the papers onto the ground and come to check on me. Something he does quite often.

"We are just talking Nelson," Scott says to Nelson before turning to me "Right Y/N" His grip on my wrist tightens even more

I whimper slightly as I press myself into the wall more to put some distance between Scott and me. I feel Scott's hand get ripped off me before I am pushed behind Nelson himself.

"I said to get you're handing off her. I suggest you leave before I call security for harassment" Nelson says.

Scott scoffs before he heads down the halls. I quickly kneel down to pick up the papers I had dropped. Nelson kneels down to help me. Once I had all the paper, Nelson leads me to his office closing the door behind us,

"Are you okay?" He asks me. I nod as I sit down the papers before rubbing my wrist. He takes my wrist in his hand gently checking it. "Did he hurt you?"

"No, just grabbed my wrist roughly," I say looking up at him. Nelson always looked at me with such care. It was odd since it wasn't a look he gave anyone else. It always made my heart flutter. "Oh I have papers for you to sign from Wesley"

"Of course. I will sign them and get them to him later" Nelson says to me as he still holds my wrist gently in his hands.

"Okay. Then I will be headed back to my office. Please let me know if you need anything" I say.

"Of course," Nelson says.

I blush as Nelson doesn't let go of my wrist. "Nelson, I um... I need my wrist back"

"Right sorry," Nelson says blushing as he lets go of my wrist. I nod to him and start to head out of the office. "Y/N one more thing"

"Yes?" I ask turning back towards him.

"Would you like to have dinner with me?" Nelson asks.

"Oh um is this a business dinner?" I ask.

"No, I think maybe like a date," Nelson asks rubbing the back of his neck nervously.
