Matt x Reader: Late Night Secrets

I grump tiredly as I drove to the studio. Sam had just let it slip that Matt was meeting up with Benjamin Cobalt tonight. This angered me since Matt and I were secretly dating. He was always throwing himself into danger. Sam didn't know that him and I were together but she knew we were close.

As I pulled into the parking lot, I checked the area to make sure the Phantom wasn't here yet. Upon seeing he wasn't I get out of the car and walked to blue base. Sam was the first to see me from where she was sitting. I let myself in with the keys, I had and stood at the entrance

"Matthew Fredrick!" I yelled.

"Alright who let it slip" he said before looking at me. "Hi Y/N it's nice to see you"

"Id like to have a word with you." I say glaring at him "privately"

Matt nods as he gets up and walks into mega desk. I walk in behind him and closr the door.

"Listen i was going to tell you" Matt says to me.

"Uh huh. Im not mad that you didn't tell me. Im upset" I say to him. "I am mad thought because we were supposed to have date night tonight."

"Shit im sorry. I totally forgot" Matt says.

"You think i like hearing about this shit from someone who isn't my boyfriend. I worry about you so much Matt it drives me crazy." I say as tears finally stream down my face. "Ever since you were in the hospital, i have to fear something is going to happen to you. Its so hard to keep us a secret if you're getting hurt. Im you're emergency contact remember"

"I know, we will tell everyone soon. Im worried if it got out that we're together that you will get dragged into all this as well" Matt says to me. "Come here" Matt pulls me into a tight hug as I cry. "Im sorry. I really dont mean to worry you"

"Im always worried" I say looking up at him. "I wouldn't be a good girlfriend if i didn't"

"She's right you know!" We hear Woods says.

I start to laugh "We have listeners"

Matt let's go of me to open the office door. "What point of private conversation do you not understand" Matt says.

"We could still hear everything through the lav" Quinn says.

"Right" Matt says as he starts to laugh. "Okay I guess that cat is out of the bag"

"How long have you two been together?" Sam asks.

"A few months now" I answered.

Matts phone goes off letting us all know that the phantom was here. Matt tells me to stay with the girls while he goes to talk to Ben. I nod as I watch him leave blue base. Sam hold my arm as we watch from a distance.

Sam and Bailey were really supportive as they asked me more questions while we waited for Matt to be done talking to Ben. I explained to them why we kept it a secret for so long which they understood. Once Ben left, I quickly pull out of the girls arms and run out to him.

Matt scoops me up in a tight hug "See I'm alright" Matt whispers to me.

"You are still not off the hook" I say to him.

"Maybe I can make it up to you" Matt says.

"How?" I ask looking up at him.

Matt turns off his lav as he leans to my ear. He whispers exactly what he was gonna do to me to make it up to me my face turns bright red.

"Sound good?" Matt asks pulling away.

"Mhm, I will um go wait in the car for you then" I say as I head towards his car since i could just get mine tomorrow when matt comes to the studio.

"I'll be there shortly." Matt says.
