Matt x Reader: I never stopped love you

I look down at my phone since I had texted the girls that I was here for lunch 10 minutes ago and I had yet to hear from them. I groan as I knew I would have to go into after them. I had been avoiding going into the studio since I know my ex boyfriend would be there. It had been a few months since Matt and I broke up but it still hurt. I turn off my car and walk to Blue Base. I knock on the glass gently.

"Hey Y/N" Kat greets letting me in.

"Hey Kat. Where's Sam and Bailey? I texted them for lunch but I haven't heard from them yet." I say.

"Mmm Sam's office most likely" Kat says.

I nod as I walk past Matt's office. I could feel his eyes on me causing me to look over making eye contact with him. I quickly turn my head away before heading upstairs to Sam's office.

"Sam?" I call out.

"In here" She says from her office. I open the door revealing herself and Bailey. "Hey Y/N sorry we just got off a meeting"

I nod "That's alright" I say giving them a slight smile.

The girls and I head back downstairs. Matt was now put of his office talking to Kat. We make eye again. I walk past him leaving the studio. I take the girls to lunch always this time when I pull into the parking lot to drop then off, Matt comes outside to greet them.

"Y/N? Can we talk?" Matt says to me.

I hesitate for a second before nodding. I get out of my car and follow him inside nervously. He brings me into his office and closes the door.

"Why did you want to talk to me?" I ask.

"I miss you." Matt says. "I miss us."

"Matt..."

"Nothing is the same anymore. Your clothes aren't in the drawer and the bed no long smells of your perfume. And I find myself looking for you in your reading area and you are never there" Matt says to me.

"Matt we agreed that breaking up would be better for both of us." I say to him. "We couldn't even go to bed together without fighting"

"I know. I get that." Matt says to me. "But nothing is the same. Please come home. Plesse be mine again. I can't stand not being with you."

"Matt..."

"Please. I'll be a better boyfriend. I'll talk to about everything that's going. I won't keep the project a secret anymore. You can even come along be apart of it with me. Please Y/N. I love you. I never stopped loving you." Matt pleads.

I look up at him tears in my eyes. It was the first time I had heard him say he loved me in such a long time. I quickly start to cry. Matt panics seeing my tears.

"You still love me?" I sob.

Matt grabs my face gently "Of course I do. I know I didn't same it much especially when we were fighting but I've always loved you and I never stopped." Matt says.

I wrap my arms around Matt tightly pulling him into a deep kiss. Matt grabs my waist pulling me closer. When we pull apart, Matt presses his forehead against mine.

"Does this mean you still love me back? Matt asks.

I laugh, "I never stopped." I say to him.

"So you'll come home?" Matt asks looking At me. "You'll be mine again?"

I nod before pulling him into another kiss.
