Ben x Reader: All around me - Part 1

Important Notes: Dream Video

Ben's POV

A girl with h/c hair in a white dress runs through a field barefoot. She laughs as the rain starts to pour down from the sky. She spins around until her e/c eyes meet mine.

"Come on Ben!" She says in the sweetest voice.

"Love slow down! You're gonna get hurt" I say chasing after her.

She giggles as she runs over to me holding her hand out to me. I reach out to grab her hands only for her to disappear

I jolt away sitting up. I press my hands to my face. I have been having the same dream since I was working at Syntec however the dream went away due to being under the control of Nelson. Now that Nelson's control over me is gone the dreams have resurfaced. They have recently felt real like I was actually living in those dreams. I look at my phone to check the time, I was going to be meeting Matt to go over a video that the team had found.

After I was showered, I headed out of the RV and headed to the studio. Upon pulling in I could see a few of Matt's employees out in the parking lot chasing each other with nerf guns. My eyes lock on a girl that seemed so familiar to me. Her h/c hair whips around her as she chases Woods through the parking lot. Her laugh echos through the parking lot as she chases Woods into Blue Base. I get out of the car and head to Blue base. Matt meets me at the door.

"Hey, thanks for coming," Matt says letting me in.

"Of course," I say walking in looking around the studio.

"Woodland Demars get back here!" I hear someone yell.

The same h/c haired girl runs down the stairs after Woods who had something in his hand.

"Yo! Demar twins slow down before one of you gets hurt" Matt yells.

The h/c haired girl stops at looks up at us. "Tell Woods to give me my phone back then," She says her eyes meeting mine before widening.

"Woods give Y/N back her phone," Matt says.

"Yes dad," Woods says handing Y/N her phone.

She grabs Woods's arms and drags him upstairs. Matt shakes his head before leading me upstairs to the conference room. Sam was in the conference room with Bailey waiting for us.

"So we found this tape and wanted to ask you about it," Matt says as we sit down.

Matt plays the video. It was me in my apparatus sitting in what looked like this conference room.

"So Benjamin, how have you been sleeping?" Someone asks

"Same as always" I answer

"Are you still seeing this mystery girl in your dreams?" The same person asks

"No" I answer lying

"I can't help if you aren't honest," They ask

"Yes I am" I answer honestly finally

"Do you know her?" They ask

"No. I have no idea who she is" I answer

"What happens in these dreams?" They ask

"It's the same thing over and over. I'm with her in either a field on we are laying down in bed and when I go to grab her she vanishes" I answer

The video ends and Matt turns to me. "So do you remember this interrogation?" Matt asks.

"Vaguely," I answer.

"Who were you talking to?" Matt asks me.

"Wesley I think. I don't remember but it sounds like him" I explain.

"Do you know that girl you were talking about?" Matt asks.

"When this video was taken, I didn't but now I think I do" I answer

"You know who the girl is?" Sam asks curiously.

"Yeah. The girl in my dreams has h/c hair and e/c eyes. She likes to run around barefoot a lot in my dreams as well" I explain

"Y/N" Bailey says quickly. "That sounds like Y/N"

Just on cue, there was a knock on the door and Y/N walks in. "Hey Matt," She says. She looked nervous her eyes meet mine again.

"What's up Y/N?" Matt asks.

"Can I borrow Ben? I have a question for him" She says.

"Oh yes of course we just finished up here," Matt says.

I get up and walk out of the conference room. She leads me into her office closing the door behind us. She looked down at the floor nervously before looking up at me. "Who are you? Why do I keep seeing you in my dreams?" She asks.
