Remus overexerting himself n the boys sleeping by the fire

One of the boys favorite things was snuggling up by the fire in the common room. Usually it was on late nights when they'd crammed enough information into their heads and were dead tired. Sometimes it was when Remus was cold,Sirius would take him over to the fire and turn into a dog to snuggle with him.
"Moons you're dead tired come on" Sirius said "And your cold"
"No pads I'm fine I just need to finish this essay" Remus had been going over his Care Of Magical Creatures essay,making sure he missed nothing important and adding many details.
"You can finish it tomorrow,even in the morning" Sirius finally turned into Padfoot and nudged Remus.
Remus sighed and finally got up,he followed the black dog to the familiar spot by the fire.
Sirius had dragged blankets over before flopping against his already asleep boyfriend,who snuggled into his fur.
By this point the others were used to finding them passed out and just rolled with it, besides who would want to wake up such a cute dog? James.
"Padfoot" James nudged the black dog "Come on lads get up"
Sirius finally turned back "Shut up James you'll wake my sweet boyfriend"
James rolled his eyes "You two are sappy"
"Sod off your still going for Lily" Sirius said "Remus was up late last night so give him a break"
"Was he doing work again?" James asked
"Yeah he acts like he doesn't have plenty of time to work on anything so he decides to stay up till his about to pass out" Sirius sighed
"The amount of times I've found you two down here makes me a bit worried for him,do you think he's overexerting himself?" James asked
"He totally is,and the most I have done is drag him over here so he'll relax" Sirius said
"Does he I mean enjoy just sitting by the fire?" James asked
"Yeah he's fine with it" Sirius said
Remus had finally awoken "Who's fine with what?" He asked groggly
"You and being by the fire" James said
Remus made grabby hands and Sirius laid into him.
"If you'll excuse us James I think someone wants cuddles" Sirius said
James just made a dorky smile and left.
Remus snuggled into Sirius,he was a big baby when he was tired.
Sirius decided it was the perfect time to ask him "Remus why do you push yourself so much?"
There was an awkward silence for a moment before Remus finally spoke a simple "I don't want to fall behind"
"Your worried about falling behind?" Sirius asked
"Yeah"
"Renus you know how many times I've had to drag you from your desk while you're dead tired and lay you with me by the fire?" Sirius asked "A lot,I'm just worried your overexerting yourself way more than you should sure marks are important,but sleep is too and with fulls every month you fall behind on that"
"Well I don't want to fall behind on work either thanks to those" Remus said
"Your actually ahead and remember the teachers know" Sirius reminded him
"You know I stay up to read too" Remus added
"Yes well you can read all the time right now you need sleep,even James agrees" Sirius said
"I can sleep anytime" Remus shrugged
"And you can work anytime,right now my boyfriend needs cuddles and sleep" Sirius reminded him
"Oh,alright" Remus couldn't argue with that
"I love you" Sirius murmured
"Love you more"
"Were not starting that"
