No One POV
Keenan had now arrived at Shalour city which was a fast trip thanks to Togekiss since he's able to fly at a fast enough speed as using Pokémon to fly to your destination is really convenient as if he was back at his old world it would've taken a while to get to Shalour city on car or on plane but thanks to Pokémon that is able to fly he can save a lot of money with just using them. He arrived at the city sometime in the afternoon yesterday as he went to the Pokémon center and gotten a room there and since it's a new day he decided to walk around the city for a bit.
Keenan:well it isn't to the part when Ash gets here to battle Korrina for a spot in the Great class since it's still relatively early as he should be around the time he gets that egg from Nurse Joy and hatches into Riolu.he said to himself thinking where he's at well episode wise
Keenan:but I think I'll just explore a bit don't really feel like battling although I could train Riolu a bit but we trained a little bit yesterday before i came to the city and it's best that he gets a bit of rest before the battle.he started to think about it
As Keenan had continued walking around the city as he came across the same stadium that he and Korrina had fought in as he seen that it's empty as of now as it seems that there isn't any tournaments or what not going on but he did read that there's going to be a Normal class tournament 4 days from now.
But since Keenan isn't part of the World Coronation Series he didn't really paid attention to that since he's entering the leagues as he starting to wonder how well he'll do in the league as he knows that his older cousin Riley Is entering the league and Macy since he encountered her back in Sinnoh. Since Kanto,Johto,Hoenn and Sinnoh banned the use of Legendary and Mythical Pokémon thanks to a certain someone he doesn't need to worry for someone like Tobias to come out of nowhere with Legendary Pokémon.
Keenan:*looking at his Rotom phone*let's see here Unova,Kalos and Alola allows the use of Legendary and Mythical Pokémon I wonder if Tobias will use any Legendaries against me.he wondered to himself
Keenan:so they enforced that rule 2 years ago ever since Tobias had wrecked everyone in the Sinnoh league with just his Darkrai but they also kept the use of Legendary and Mythical Pokémon eligible for Unova and Kalos since those are the hardest leagues. While for Alola they honestly don't really care since Professor Kukui did used Tapu Koko and Ash used Melmetal and Naganadel.he said while reading the rules
While he was reading he seen a Lucario walking around the area which he rose an eyebrow at the Lucario as he most likely knows who's Lucario it is since it has the all to familiar glove for it's Mega Stone as he seen a trainer with blonde hair on roller skates make her way toward the Lucario as it's Korrina.
Keenan:huh it's Korrina I wonder what she's doing out here probably going to do some training or what not.he wondered to himself
???:heeyyy yoohoooo the person siting down looking at their Rotom phone.she called out to him
Keenan:*thinks to himself*oh no she's calling me what does she want.he wondered to himself
He seen Korrina making her way toward him along with her Lucario as they stopped a few meters away from him as he looked up at her and she looked down at him as they just stared at one another for a few seconds.
Keenan:um is there something you need.he asked her
Korrina:well the names Korrina and I'm the gym leader of Shalour city and I was wondering if we could have a battle it can prepare me for the World Coronation Series and future gym battles.she asked him
