Everyone in Keenan's group is looking at the new arrivals as Ryuga recognizes this person and the same can be said for Keenan since well who could forget the person who defeated Ash in the Kalos league during the final round.
As both him and Keenan are staring at each other which started to make him a bit uncomfortable since they've been staring at each other for what feels like a few minutes.
Keenan:*sweat drops*is there a reason why your staring at me.he asked him
Alain:I'd like to challenge you to a battle.he challenged him
Keenan:*raises an eyebrow*can I ask why me specifically.he asked
Alain:I've seen your Charizard's performance during the Sinnoh league it caught my interest and made me want to battle it, so that's a why I'm challenging you to a battle.he replied to him
Keenan:ok seriously dude there's literally the new Johto and Hoenn league winners here and nonetheless someone who defeated all of the Kanto Elite Four here as well, and you want to challenge me.he said to him
Mairin:what are you scared or something.she asked him
Keenan:*scoffs*you must be stupid to think mere provocations will get me to battle him because if so your definitely immature and a 5 year old.he replied to her
Mairin:*glared at him*what did you said to me.as Keenan Ignored the pest
Alain:so does that mean you won't battle me.he asked him
Keenan:I'm a busy person and I don't have time to battle meaningless battles, if you really want to battle someone then battle either one of them.he replied to him
As Keenan had walked past him along with Takuto for they can take a shower as Alain stood there surprised as he literally just brushed him off like it was nothing as Mairin was still mad about what Keenan said to her earlier but he doesn't care.
He doesn't have time to talk to irrelevant character in the story since Mairin is nothing but a side character to Alain and that doesn't deserve his attention, as Alain had glanced at Tatsumi,Kalakaua and Ryuga.
Alain:hmm does that mean any of you will be willing to battle me.he asked them
Kalakaua:sorry but I just finished battling in the Battle Frontier so I think I'll pass for today.he said to him
Tatsumi:*mutters*still pissed you banged my sister tho.he muttered
Ryuga:I would battle you but I also battled in the Ultra class and I'm taking a small break.he said back to him
It was until Alain had looked at James who was standing besides them as he got a good look at the said person as he does look vaguely familiar but at the same time he swore that he seen him somewhere before like a few years ago.
Until it clicked in his mind, he remembers those Team Rocket people who tried to steal Ash's Pikachu until him and his Charizard had came by to stop them from happening.
Alain:*narrows his eyes*I thought you looked familiar I had to look at you a bit longer, you were with Team Rocket and tried to steal Ash's Pikachu before why are you with them.he said to him
James:I quit Team Rocket months ago and I'm staring anew one without doing anything villainous.he replied to him
Alain:I'm not sure if I should be convinced or not.he said out loud
