The next day has arrive for Keenan to challenge Korrina to the gym battle as he has his Pokémon that he'll be using as he has came up with a few strategies to counter her Lucario since her Lucario will be the main threat on her team since she can Mega Evolve him as Tatusmi and Kalakaua should be arriving in the city by the time he should be done with the gym battle.
Keenan:*looking at the gym*right I forgot it's across the ocean well there's no point in standing here time to get my next badge.he said while looking off into the distance
With that Keenan had begun to make his journey onwards to the small island as he's walking on the sand path that is usually covered with water but since it's the right time of day the path is open as Keenan had finally made it and is now standing in front of the large entrance as someone was already waiting for him.

Keenan:*nods*yes and I take it that your someone related to Korrina considering that you sorta look like her.he asked back
Gurkinn:indeed I am the names Gurkinn and I'm Korrina's grandfather but come this way she's been waiting for you.he said to him
Keenan didn't said anything but followed him into the gym as they walked further into the gym as they seen a battlefield freshly made and Korrina waiting by the stairs as when she seen him she gotten off of the raid by the stairs and made her way toward them.
Korrina:*smiles*so Keenan you ready for your gym battle.she asked him
Keenan:*cracks his neck*yes of course I am after all I'm here for my gym badge and nothing else.he answered her
Korrina:*smirks*well I'm telling you it's not going to be easy.she replied to him
Keenan:I'm not expecting it to be easy I'm just prepared, but shall we get started.he said back to her
As the 3 of them had made their way toward the battlefield as Korrina is on the other side and Keenan is on the other side by the stairs while Gurkinn had taken his spot at the referee podium in the middle of the battlefield as he has his flags in his hands as he glanced at both Keenan and Korrina as he raised his flags up into the air.
Gurkinn:*his flags raised*this will be a 3 vs 3 battle between the challenger Keenan and the gym leader Korrina, the winner will be decided when either sides Pokémon are unable to continue. In addition only the challenger will be allowed to switch out Pokémon and the use of Mega Evolution and Z-Moves are allowed so please send out your first Pokémon.he announced to them
Keenan:*thinks to himself*3 vs 3 huh I wonder what Pokémon she'll send out first.he wondered to himself
Korrina:*throws her ball*alright here's my first choice go.as she threw the ball
As her first Pokémon had appeared onto the battlefield as it was a Toxicroak as Keenan was a bit surprised to see that she has a Toxicroak since he definitely wasn't expecting her to have a Pokémon like that.
