Ryuga is currently in the Unova region at Victory road right by Opelucid city as he's heard rumors of this stupidly powerful Hydreigon that not even the current Unovan Champion named Iris can defeat, and he wanted to see it for himself.
He came to the said place soon after his cousin had won the battle against Steven Stone as he congratulated him and dug out soon as he can since he had this on his mind for quite awhile now.
Ryuga isn't alone since he also has someone else with him, as she has long light blue hair and blue colored eyes. This person is named Clair and she's the 8th gym leader of Johto and also the girlfriend of Ryuga.

Clair:are you sure that this is a good idea.she asked him

Ryuga:from what reports say is that it has a big ass chamber that it lives in and attacks anyone who tries and come near it, so that'll be the best bet to finding it.he told her

They turned to the voice to see it was the same purple haired and purple eyed girl they seen a few chapters ago that Keenan battled with her weird Pokémon from her verse, it was Amethyst as she's also here to check out the Hydreigon.
Ryuga:aren't you that girl Keenan battled some time ago.he asked
Amethyst:*nods*yes I am, I've been going to the different regions seeing what I could do and trying to get stronger.she replied
Ryuga:but you lost against Keenan and quite easily as well he didn't even needed to Mega Evolve his Charizard to beat you. Sorry to say but you'll get your ass destroyed if you battled this thing.he told her

As the new trio are walking through the mountain as they seen many other Pokémon like Golems,Gigaliths,Boldore's and also Swoobat every once in awhile. But they all seem hesitant to come out, which is most likely because of the Hydreigon.
