Lucian's next Pokémon is a Malamar which is quite the interesting choice for him but he's also a psychic type Pokémon, but against a Pokémon like Golisopod it's not a good match but he can't underestimate it.
Lucian:use Dark Pulse.he ordered
Keenan:block it with your arms.he told him
The chain of dark energy had hurled its way over toward Golisopod but he used his beefy arms to block the attack which limited the damage.
Keenan:use First Impression now.he commanded
Lucian:*smirks*Foul Play.he said
Golisopod has tried to stab Malamar but he managed to dodge the attack at the last possible second and jabbed Golisopod using one is his tentacles which managed to push him back a bit.
Keenan:*mutters*dam that was quite smart of him using Foul Play like that.he muttered
Lucian:now use Thunderbolt Malamar.he commanded her
Keenan:shit dodge it Golisopod.he cried out to him
He was too slow as Malamar had already unleashed the arch of lightning at him which made Golisopod cry out loudly in pain as the attack had died off, as Golisopod's ability had kicked in which was Emergency Exit.
As Golisopod has been sent back to its ball on Keenan's belt as his next Pokémon had took on as substitution which was his Mudsdale that he received from Anela back in Alola a month before the Sinnoh league started.
Announcer:since Golisopod has taken a lot of damage it had activated its ability and brought out Mudsdale to sub in for him, let's see if his Mudsdale will he enough to take down Lucian's Malamar.he said into the mic
Keenan:that Malamar of yours is tricky I'll give you that much.he said to him
Lucian:*smirks*well I have trained her to be unpredictable and I wanted your Golisopod to activate its ability, but I wasn't expecting a Mudsdale.he said back to him
Keenan:well don't underestimate him, Mudsdale use Stone Edge now.he ordered him
Lucian:Malamar use Brutal Swing to destroy those rocks.he commanded her
The sharp rocks had made its way over toward Malamar who used its tentacles to destroy those rocks which made the falling pieces fall onto the battlefield.
Lucian:now Malamar use Dark Pulse once again.he commanded her
Keenan:use Iron Defense Mudsdale.he commanded
As Mudsdale body had gotten a shine to him as Malamar had unleashed the chain of dark energy at him creating an explosion, but he didn't received that much damage.
Mudsdale had pretty much shook off the attack like it was nothing, as Lucian was quite impressed.
Lucian:alright now use Psycho Cut Malamar.he ordered
Keenan:jump into the air and use Heavy Slam.he commanded
Malamar had sent 2 blades of psychic energy at him as Mudsdale had jumped into the air to dodge the attack but it was like a homing missile, as the attack had made connection which created an explosion.
The smoke had covered the view for the time being until Mudsdale had came hurling down with incredible speeds as he used his front legs to hit Malamar which did massive damage to her as she was sent flying.
