"I've just--" Nicholas started, "I've got to--" He whispered, and walked away. He walked out of the room, and I stared at the door, horrified. I stood up, and the tears started to fall. I quickly wiped my eyes.
"I'm sorry" I wailed to no one. He wasn't in the room, but I yelled that. I sat back down, and I hugged my legs. I cried into my legs, I felt like an idiot. Why did I do that? Did I just ruin our friendship? He probably doesn't want to be friends with me anymore.
I yelled into my legs. "I'm sorry!" But it was muffled. "I'm sorry" I cried out once more.
