Copper was talking with Tara and Sahar. I walked down to his step, and asked him. 

"Darling? Do you want ice-cream?" He looked down at his hands worried, and just played with his nails. "Oh, uhm-- Nah. I'm still kind of full from lunch!" I looked at him confused. 

"But.. you barely ate anything at lunch though--" Copper got defensive. 

"What!? Yeah I did!" My eyes went wide, and I removed my hand from his shoulder. He started to hit his wrist's together gently and he whispered. 

"I mean-- I'm fine, Nicholas, honestly" I looked at him worried, but whispered. "Ok.." I stood up, and Darcy said. 

"We'll meet you back here!" I saw Tara looked at Copper worried, but said to her girlfriend. "Okay!" I looked down at Copper, and I clenched onto my backpack before walking after Darcy.

I was walking next to Aled, and I said to him. "Hey, Aled. Have you noticed Copper doesn't really eat much?" Aled looked up at me. "What d'you mean?" He asked me. 

I sighed, and ran my fingers through my hair.

"I dunno, I just.. he never finishes any meal and never eats snacks" I muttered, and Aled hummed. "Oh.. Hm.. I don't know. I don't think I've noticed" I looked down at him, my eyebrows crunched together.

"Oh.." I looked down at my feet as we walked. "Why? Are you worried about it?" Aled asked me.

"I dunno. Maybe a little" I lied. I was very much worried. "I know he's naturally on this skinny side.. but.. I dunno" I heavily sighed.  

"You should ask him about it if you're worried" Aled looked up at me with a sad expression. I nodded. "Yeah, maybe I will"

We walked a little bit more, till Darcy yelled out. "It's here!" She brightly smiled to us from behind her. We walked up, and I walked to the cashier.

"Oui, Monsieur?" He asked me, and turned to me. "Combien pour deux boules de glace?**"  

"Cinq, euros**" He smiled, and turned to us. "Ah, alors.. je pourrais avoir duex boules de glace, s'it vous plaît?**" 

"Quelles saveurs?**" He asked me. "Eh.." I thought for a moment. "Au chocolat.. et à la vanille.**" I answered. 

"D'accord. Vous êtes angalis?**" He asked me. "Oui!" I smiled. "C'est pas vrai! Votre accent est incroyable!! **" I smiled when he complement my accent. "Ah, merci!" I smiled brightly.  

I turned to my friends, an Darcy gushed. "Oh my God. Since WHEN would you speak French like an actual French person?!" Darcy asked me. I laughed, and rubbed the back of my neck.

"Oh, uhm- My dad's French." I smiled, "SINCE WHEN!?" Darcy asked me, and I laughed. 

"Since.. his birth?" I laughed.

I took a photo of the view, and smiled down at my camera, when Tara asks me. "So" She smiled. "how are things with you and Nick?" I blushed and smiled. "Oh really good!" I smiled up at the cloudy sky.

"Sometimes I still can't believe he's my boyfriend" I chuckled, and Tara looked at me confused and she asked me. "Really? Why?" I thought for a moment, laughed then answered her.

"I dunno. There was a time where I was SUPER fuckin' jealous of you" I leaned into my hand, and turned to her. Her eyes went wide, and I continued. "Because.. I thought you and Nicholas might have-- Y'know" She giggled.

Then went into a short laughing-fit. I chuckled at her, and smiled. 

"There's no way that would have ever happened. Aside from the fact that I'm absolutely NOT into guys." She reassured me, and leaned into her own hand. She smiled at me and added. 

"Nick's so in love with you it's a little unbearable to watch sometimes" My eyes went wide, and my face went to a bright red hue. Tara chuckled at my reaction. "You.. think so?" I muttered, and played with my hair. 

"You DON'T!?" She joked, and we both laughed. We stopped laughing, and it was silent for a few moments before I broke the silence. 

"How did you and Darcy get over the fear of people knowing you're together?" I whispered to the girl beside me. Tara looked up at me. "It took time" She squeezed my hand with a smile. I smiled back at her.
