Nicholas sat down next to me, and he smiled at me. 

"Hey" I smiled back, and gently blushed. "Hey" I whispered.

"uhm--" I looked at him confused. "Would you like a lick of my ice-cream?" I smirked at his question, and his eyes went wide and his face went hella red.

"Oh my God, that sounded really sexual for some reason" I laughed into my sleeve hand. I took his ice-cream, and licked it. He looked at me, and weakly smiled. 

"Not bad!" I smiled, and turned to him. He laughed, and wiped some ice-cream off my nose. He said as he wiped it off my nose.

"You got some on your nose" I looked at him, utterly baffled. "What!?" He laughed, and we held hands.

Everyone walked back to where we said to meet up with the unsuspected love-birds, and we found them. "There they are!" I pointed to them.

"Oh my God, d'you think anything happened?" Darcy whispered to me. "I hope so, or Tao is gonna pine Death" I smiled at Darcy.

In The Room, Later That Night

"Anyone want anything from the vending machine?" Aled asked everyone. Copper shook his head, and said. "No thanks, I'm getting in the shower" 

"I'm okay, thanks!" I answered.

"Nah!" Tao yelled out, and was sitting on his bed on his phone. I looked at him and asked. "Hey Tao. How'd it go with Elle today?" His face went really red, really fast. And his eyes were really wide. 

"It was fine" He huffed. "So.. did something happen?" I asked him. He crossed his arms, and started yelling. 

"NO!?! What was supposed to happen!? Nothing HAPPENED!" My eyes went wide. "Uhm.. okay.." I whispered. 

I looked down at my lap, a little disappointed. 

"We just walked around the Museum for a bit, it was nice.." I smiled at Tao. "Okay.. but have you considered telling her how you feel?" I asked him, and he looked down sadly.

"You don't get it!" Tao ran his finger's through his hair, and left his hand there for a bit. 

"Elle is literally the most amazing person in the world. She's been through so much shit. Like, I was her friend when she came out as Trans and that was NOT a fun time for her. She's been through all that and now she's enjoying herself with new friends at a new school. The last thing she needs is me throwing a curveball and messing up our friendship" 

He let everything out at once. 

"But what about what she wants?" I asked him. "Sometimes it's worth taking a risk" I weakly smiled at him.

"Why would she like someone like me anyways?" My eyes went wide, as I looked at my friend. He muttered under his breath. 

"She's so cool and interesting and I'm just... me" I looked at him confused and angry.. only slightly angry-

"Tao--" He stood up, and zipped up his jacket. "I'm going to the vending machine" I watched him walk out the room. I loudly sighed, and ran my fingers through my hair. I looked down next to me, and grabbed my phone. 

'Sometimes it's worth taking a risk ' my own words were eating at my mind. I weakly smiled at a photo of my boyfriend, brightly smiling at my phone.
