School Fieldtrip

PETER POV: 

I heard my alarm go off and quickly got up. I shut my alarm off and went to the bathroom. I grabbed the thermometer. I turned the water on to be warm and held my hand under it. I will fake sick today. Today the class has a field trip to Stark tower. Which is the Avengers base. Everyone knows my identity here so I don't want to go to school today. I put the thermometer under the water for a few seconds. There was a knock on my bedroom door. 

"Fuck" I said. 

I'm not ready. 

"Coming" I said trying my best to sound sick. 

I turned the water off and put the thermometer in my mouth. I left the bathroom and opened the door to see Steve standing there. 

"Hey kid, just making sure you are awake before going for a jog" said Steve. 

"I don't exactly feel good" I lied. 

Steve grabbed the thermometer from my mouth and had a look. He was not impressed. 

"Get dressed" said Steve. 

"But I'm sick" I said. 

"Really" said Steve as he crossed his arms. 

"Yes, the temperature read 100.5 degrees" I said. 

Steve laughed a little. 

"Peter if this was your actually temperature you would be dead and probably burnt" said Steve. 

I was confused. Steve showed me the thermometer. 

"The warmest a human can survive in celsius is around 42 degrees" said Steve. 

It was then that I noticed it was in celsius not fahrenheit. 

"Worth a shot" I said. 

"Why would you fake sick to skip school" asked Steve. 

"Because today we have a field trip to the Avengers tower. I already know that you all will embarrass me. Plus Loki and I are still the last two left in the prank war" I said. 

Natasha thought it would be a good idea for training to play a game where we pick each other off and the last Avenger standing wins. There are rules and it originally was just going to be paint ball but instead the others wanted to do pranks because that is more fun. Shuri is also in the game still but she is all the way in Wakanda. 

"Loki said he is going to Canada to visit his boyfriend. Stephen demanded to go with him to make sure Loki stays out of trouble and you could just ask everyone to not embarrass you" said Steve. 

"But they won't listen" I said. 

"You might have a point. Now get ready for school. Bucky is driving you today and speaking from experience if you are late he will make you do 50 push ups for every 10 minutes you are late" said Steve. 

He left and took the thermometer with him. I groaned and closed the door. I have to go to school. I got dressed and went to the kitchen for breakfast. Thor was already up having poptarts for breakfast. Hawkeye finished making his coffee and saw me enter the room. 

"Hey Pete, I heard that there was a field trip today" said Hawkeye. 

"Shall I pack bug spray for the spider child? And what exactly is so interesting about going to a field? Is it that there is something pretty there like flowers or is it the educational purpose" asked Vision as he entered the kitchen threw the wall. 

"No, a field trip is where the class goes somewhere to visit. Peter's class will be coming to the tower" said Hawkeye. 

"Oh" said Vision. 

I got a box of cereal for breakfast and sat at the table. 

"So the spider child is having a trip to his house" said Thor. 

"But I don't want to go. Everyone is going to find out that I'm Spiderman" I said.
