The Addams were known for many things, dark, morbid people in charge of the town's only funeral parlor and cemetery, polite but eerie individuals with sharp witt and various weapons among their persons.Though, to one girl, a shining sun among the filth of humanity, The Addams were a delightful and kind family, if very, very odd people. Though, their heiress, a young child by the name of Wednesday, was the best of them all, her partner. The room at the top of the Addams mortuary, a lone figure sat. Black candles rested in a circle around them, A pendulum swung between fingers, left, right, back and forth with purpose.

"Back and forth, just like the swing, let those who've wronged her fall. The swing will rock, to and fro, and then let Hecate have them sway. Let rock fall from the mountains, call upon the dark, for as I becon revenge, the wolf will kill her mark."

The candles went out with a sudden gust of wind, and Wednesday allowed the pendulum to drop to the floor, watching as it vanished right before it hit the ground. A small smile pulled at their lips and they rose from the floor, preparing themselves for bed.

As the sun rose, Wednesday stepped down from their room, the dark aura of the house radiating off it's residents. Pigtails swayed slightly as they walked down the steps, school bag in hand, arriving in the kitchen and sitting down at the breakfast table. Pugsley, their younger brother sat beside them, already munching on some pancakes. They crinkled their nose, turning to their bowl of simple, plain porridge. The sound of paper crinkling made them nearly flinch, the discomforting closeness to such a texture made them uncomfortable. Their mother, Morticia, a powerful and rather cold figure of their clan, looked at them, dark eyes studying their small figure. She opened her mouth, about to speak just as the doorbell rang, a screeching sound that vibrated the entire house. Wednesday hummed softly, standing and leaving the table. Their father, a stout but kind man, just as powerful as his wife, gave his child a brief hug before they stepped out of the house, smiling at the sight of their girlfriend the fabulous Enid Sinclair.

"Willa! Hi!" Enid immediately went to hold their hand, and Wednesday didn't complain, allowing it even as they stepped down from the foreboding house and walked through the forest, voice hushed as Enid spoke about anything that came to mind. Wednesday listened silently, pleased with their spell from the night before. Now, their sunshine would never deal with such bullies again. But if she did, they'd have them suffer even more than they were now, down within the mines of the forest town, down in the dark earth to hopefully never be found, never to harm their sun ever again.
