~~6: Pentagon Wooseok - For Real This Time Pt.2~~

Wooseok's POV
It's been a week since we've been keeping this fake relationship going with y/n and I gotta say, I'm proud of us. We're actually managing to make it believable. Like so much to the point where it's not just Kino and his girlfriend believing it but even others. Even my ex came up to me and asked me about it but of course I blanked her. So yeah, it's going really well and as planned. Well, not fully actually. I may or may not have broken my promise with y/n.
I have fallen in love with her.
Hell, I was even in love with her before we got into this damn fake relationship! But I can't tell her now because then that would be breaking the promise. Man, what was I thinking? This is bad now that I think of it.

What the fuck do I do?

"Hey Wooseok." y/n came into the classroom, smiling at me while walking over to me and pulling over a chair to sit next to me.
"What'cha doing in here all alone? Your friends left you again?" she asked me.
"No I just needed some time to think about.. something." I respond, fiddling with my fingers.
"Oh alright. Sorry if I interrupted, you want me to leave or-"
"Nah it's fine you can stay if you really want." I told her.
"Okay I'll stay. I'll feel bad if I leave you all by yourself. I know you were in here all by yourself before I came but still." she said which caused me to laugh a little. What? She's cute.

I found myself staring at her and actually didn't realise 'till she kept calling my name.
"Yeah? Sorry, I'm just.. a little tired." I lied.
"I can tell." she said back, letting out a breathy laugh.

Wait what? Shit, that's actually so coincidental. Thank God though, just this once, someone believed me. I'm so bad at lying. I'm not actually tired.

"Hey, you wanna go get tteokbokki after school? My treat." she asked me.
"Really? Yeah sure. Haven't had tteokbokki in a while now that you say that." I told her.
"Really? I actually had it two days ago but who doesn't love tteokbokki?"
"Right?" I agreed with her.

After school, we headed straight to a place where we could get fresh tteokbokki.
"Oh my God my mouth is watering just thinking about the tteokbokki." I said. y/n laughed at my statement.
"I can't wait to finally have it either" she said "by the way, do you get what we did just now in chemistry? 'Cause I am super lost."
"Yeah I do, I can explain it to you if you want."
"Oh yeah please. I can't fail this test."
"Pssh, when have you ever failed any test?" I asked her, knowing how intelligent she is.
"A lot in primary school. It's improved over the past couple years though, I guess." she said.
"Yeah." I said, agreeing with her as I've also seen how much she's improved.
"But, Wooseok, when have you ever failed any test?" she asked me the same question I asked her.
"Ive only failed a couple like maybe five or six that I remember." I told her.
"Damn and you think I'm smart?"
"Well you're not stupid, that's for sure." I fought back.
"But you're a lot smarter." she said. I just laughed and that's when we arrived at the shop. We ordered our tteokbokki and gulped it all up in only a couple minutes. Twenty minutes later we both decided we'd have another because they were extra tasty. We had a nice chat but then we started steadily pacing home. My house was further than hers so I walked her home after giving her a hug and saying goodbye, and then I kept walking a few more minutes to get to my own house.

two weeks later~

y/n's POV
We're in maths right now and it's way more boring than usual. I keep zoning out, but whenever I'm not zoned out I always happen to see Kino looking at me.
When class finished it was break time and when the bell rang and we were packing up our stuff, Kino was packing rather fast compared to everyone else.

Where's he running off to?

"y/n can I talk to you real quick?" I turned around to see the one and only Kang Hyunggu standing behind me.
"What could you possibly want?" I asked, annoyed and not even trying to hide it.
"I just wanted to say I'm sorry for what I did. I just didn't love you anymore and I wanted to find-"
"Yeah okay whatever, stop saying that I don't care about it, you do what you want. That it?" I asked coldy, rolling my eyes.
"Wait so does that mean you forgive me?" his eyes lit up, but that quickly changed when I said "absolutely not."
"Seriously? Ugh. Well, actually I just have one question. I know I can't really say much but you moved on quite fast, I've noticed. Wooseok, huh?"
"What do you care?"
"It's just, ya know, Wooseok isn't particularly my favourite person, you know that-"
"Yeah and why should I care when we're not together anymore? I was friends with Wooseok when we were together and you didn't like him then either and you still hate him just like you did before don't you? Who am I to avoid all the things you dislike?"
"Calm down, I just wanted to say." he backed up.
"Well don't." I said and just walked off, having enough of him.

Friday night~

Wooseok and I were sitting on my balcony, looking at the full moon. I didn't even realise my head was leaning on his shoulder until he called my name and I came back to reality after zoning out while staring at the moon.
"Hm?"
"I have something to say and I know you probably won't be too happy about it but... I'm in love with you. I know I've broken our promise and that's what I feared the most but I figured that this should be an exception because to tell the truth, I liked you even before we started this fake relationship, I just wanted you to be happy and get what you want."

Wooseok's POV
"Wooseok.." I couldn't read the expression on her face and it was making me kinda worried. 'I messed up didn't I?' I thought.
"I'm in love with you too. I only wanted to make that promise because I knew I was in love with you already but I didn't think you were too and I didn't want either of us to end up getting hurt either." I said to him.
"Look, I know we just broke this promise, and promises should never be broken no matter what, but as it seems, this one had to be broken in order for us both to be happy. It was a big risk so I'm proud of both of us." I said, a big small forming on my face.
She didn't say anything after that, she just kissed me with her soft, luscious lips.

She then put her head back on my shoulder and I placed my head in top of her's. The moon was so gorgeous in that moment.
"Be my boyfriend? For real this time." she asked me.
"Hehe, of course. It's no longer a fake relationship. Yaayy!" I said and earned a giggle from y/n.

"Oh my God.." y/n said, realising something..
"What? Is there something wrong, is there a problem?" I asked, low-key worried.
"My friends are gonna flip when they find out..." she face palmed.
"Oh my God, don't scare me like that."
