~~70: TXT Beomgyu - I Care~~

It was a chilly Thursday evening and you were just getting off work, fully ready to go home and do absolutely nothing.
Today was a tiring day for you, and even though this happened like twice a month, you were still worn out as ever. You love being a choreographer but it does come with a lot of energy.
You were just driving home when you got a call from your friend group chat aka all your best friends.
"Hey guys" you said after picking up.
"Hey y/n" Chaewon greeted you.
"Hey guysss" Taehyun, who had also just joined said, and you both said hi back to him.

"Gosh, where are Kai, Beomgyu and Yunjin?" Chaewon questioned after you'd been waiting for a couple more seconds.
"I think Beomgyu's got work for another half hour and Kai might be with his sisters, I'm not sure though." Taehyun said.
"Oh my Gosh, okay. And what about Yun-" Chaewon spoke too soon as Yunjin joined just before the last ring ended.
"Sorry, I was peeing." Yunjin's apology for answering so late made the three of you crack up as it was so out of the blue.
"Hello to you too" you joked.

"Anyways, how are you all?" Chaewon asked, and everyone replied with something good.
"Okay I was calling to see if you guys wanted to meet up like over the weekend or something but I guess we can't talk about that with only 2/3 of us here so how 'bout we just stay on call and wait for the others to join?" Chaewon proposed, and everyone seemed to like the idea so that's exactly what you did.

It was about another half hour before Beomgyu joined and then another half hour after that when Kai joined.

"Okay, now that everyone's here we can talk about when we wanna meet up. That is if everyone wants to." Chaewon said a few minutes after Kai joined. Obviously, everyone said they wanted to meet up, so then you got to talking about when and where.
"Can't do tomorrow." you immediately started it off.
"Neither" Kai said.
"Yeah me either" Yunjin said "I can do Saturday?"
"That works for me." you said.
"Same" Kai said.
Everyone else replied with "same" too and then Beomgyu said "where we going?"

"D'you all just wanna come round mine? We can chill in the garden house." Taehyun suggested.
"Oh my God, yesss!!" Yunjin replied.
"Hell yeah, you have the most legit garden ever, I swear" Beomgyu said.
"I'm so down" Chaewon said.
"Alright so Taehyun's place it is. Should we do it around midday?" Kai asked.

"No, too early" you didn't even hesitate in your response which made your five friends crack up and then Kai said "okay then 12:30?"
"...fine." you objected.
"Heh, everyone okay with 12:30 then?" Kai asked, and everyone said yeah.

"I gotta agree with y/n though, midday on a Saturday is way too early." Beomgyu said.
"Thank you!" you said.

You all carried on chatting 'till 10pm then you realised you should probably shower and go to bed as you had work the next day, and you were jetlagged as hell anyway. So you said bye to your friends and showered, then went straight to bed, falling asleep within no more than twenty minutes.

Soon enough, Saturday came round and you were just putting your dishes in the sink before putting your shoes on to leave the house. You wore a pair of light blue cargos, a black oversized tee, and a pair of Vans, along with a few accessories here and there.

You got in your car and started driving. Taehyun's house was a good fifteen minute drive for you, and you thoughy there'd be traffic since it was a Saturday afternoon and everyone's out, but the road wasn't actually as busy as you'd thought. It was raining quite heavily though and you didn't think to bring a coat, but luckily you always have a backup umbrella in your car, so you were fine.

You were just casually driving along when there was a massive puddle that you had no choice but to drive through since there was no other way of getting to Taehyun's. You did have minimal doubt in you but you went for it, slowly. Aaaand your worst fear in that moment came true when your car started floating in puddle due to it being that deep.
