~~18: The Boyz Eric - Ending Fairy Pt.1~~

🎙she's dating Eric from the Boyz and their relationship is public, has been for a few months now but they've been dating for two years or so now after being literal besties for ages (they've known eachother since trainee days)

You and Eric are currently on your way in separate cars to meet HyunA & Dawn's choreographer so they can teach you ping pong as you will be covering it as a special performance in about a month or so. Your managers collectively decided to have you guys cover this song because they thought your guys' relationship was so strong and you are starting to become a K-pop power couple, that this is a perfect song to cover for you guys. Also it's a perfect start to building your guys' duo debut which the fans don't have any idea about yet.
When you two arrived and saw eachother, you ran to eachother with warm, wide smiles across both your faces. You hugged tightly and shared a kiss, then left to go into the dance studio where you'd be learning the choreography to ping pong. On the way there you two talked about what you thought about all of it and you both agreed that it'd be fun and that the fans would love it.

You greeted the backup dancers warmly before starting the process.

Fast forward an hour and a half and you two are neeeaarly done but you were so out of breath as you've dancing non-stop for the past ninety minutes. You had a big drink of water before going on to learn the last four sets of counts.

Once you finished the song it was only a matter of doing it all together at full speed and just basically polishing it. First you went over the whole thing without music and then on the second time, with the music. It was mostly flawless except for only a couple slight flaws that a few people made, so you went over it one more time and everything was perfect. You were all dripping with sweat even with the air conditioner on but nevertheless you were happy that you'd nailed the choreography. You high fived the backup dancers and also your boyfriend before you were told that you'd be coming back in five days to rehearse it some more, then again three days after that, and one last time two days after that, then the show would be the day after where you'd also be having a rehearsal stage anyway.

And it was also confirmed that the first day you will be recording for the live performance will be just the next day.

Once you left and said bye to everyone, unfortunately you and Eric didn't get any more time with eachother as you both had schedules to attend to.
'Atleast we're meeting tomorrow' you thought. You kissed eachother goodbye and got into your individual cars and headed off.

The next day you went back to the same building around the same time and again, you hugged and sweetly kissed eachother and then headed into the building hand in hand while also having a little chat.

Once you arrived at the recording studio, you greeted the producer and introduced yourselves to eachother. He told you that you will be the first one to record so you stepped into the little room and adjusted the mic to your level and comfort and also put on the pair of headphones. They'd given you a piece of paper with the lyrics on it about a week beforehand so you could rehearse your lines and you didn't forget to bring that along aswell, just incase. You warmed ur your voice then did a mic test, and then the producer told you what part you will be recording first.
"Okay first, can we go for the line 'L-O-V-E, play that ping pong' part?" he asked.
"Yup."
You then practiced how you'd do it "is like that okay?" you asked the producer.
"Just relax your voice a little more for 'play that ping pong', and add a bit more attitude." he instructed. You demonstrated how you would do just that one bit and he said it was perfect so you recorded it this time, and then again.

"Okay next, let's do the 'hello hello mamdaero daero, hey' bit." he instructed.
"Alright." you said and once again practiced how you'd do it. You tried the first time but thought it didn't sound good so you cut yourself off and tried again and it sounded great. You looked over at the producer for approval and he gave you a thumbs up so you recorded that, also twice.

"Awesome, you're doing great. Now let's do your part in the post-chorus." he told you. As per usual, you practiced how you'd do it twice then recorded it the first time.
"Awesome, try that one more time for me." he said, so you did it again.
"Just once more." he said, so you did it for the third time.
"Cool, now let's switch and do some of Eric ssi's parts." the producer said.
"Yup" the both of you said, obeying his orders. You took off the headphones and took your piece of paper out with you as Eric went into the recording room with his paper in hand. You sat down where he was sat when you were recording and then they started.
"Okay first up let's do the 'hello hello' bit." he said to Eric. Like you, Eric practiced how he'd do it and the producer approved so they recorded it three times before they went on to do another part.
You were admiring your boyfriend from the back, not realising the smile that was on your face until he glanced at you and smiled back cutely.

"Okay we're done for today. Sorry we didn't get that much time, but I have some more recordings that I have to prioritise as they're coming up a lot sooner, but when are you both able to do this next?" the producer asked you both as you all stood and he took his headphones off. This was when the managers stepped in and discussed when your schedules didn't clash which was exactly six days from then. The producer said that he even has much more time to record then which is great as you will get more done.
You then thanked the producer and said bye to him before leaving to go back to the cars.

"What time do you finish tonight babe?" Eric asked you on your way out.
"Like nine, why?" you answered him.
"Oh cool, do you wanna facetime tonight then? I finish at eight thirty." he asked you.
"Yeah, okay. I'll text you when I've showered and everything 'cause I'm assuming you'll finish all that before me anyway." you said, and Eric nodded in agreement "What time do you start tomorrow?" you asked him.
"Seven, you?"
"Same."
You then talked as much as you could before saying goodbye, again with a kiss, and going your separate ways.

a/n: meh this one ain't rlly my fav like ig it's decent but lmk. I'll be making a part two nevertheless cuz I imagined this to end in a different way
