Chapter 11 - The Suprise Party

Tessa's P.O.V:
"SUPRISE!!!" Everyone shouts. Marshall and I stay stunned as we look at all my family and friends standing under the huge red banner which says 'congratulations on your engagement' on it.

Oh wow. Just wow.

My familys going to meet Marshall. I haven't even told Marshall anything about my family! What the hell are they going to think. Half of my family's Spanish since my mom's mom is spanish and the other half is white since my dads family is white.

Let me just tell you something. It looks like non of my brothers or my parents are here since non of us are on good terms. I have to admit, I kinda feel upset because they aren't here. I thought this engagement would help amend things with them all.

Guess I was wrong.

"Aunt Tessa!" Cecelia rushes towards me and wraps her arms around my leg as she hugs.

"Hey, princess." I laugh and kneel down to hug her. Spanish people have a huge families. So my family's fucking huge, even though i'm part spanish.

"I missed you so much!" She says. I laugh and pick her up. For a seven year old she's really light. I peck her on the lip as I start to meet the rest of my family.

Marshall's P.O.V:
Tessa introduces me to her family as she meets everyone. The teenagers and other adults that recognise me take a few pictures with me and ask for autographs.

After an hour or so, we sit down on a table at the front that they set up for us. Tessa sits next to me as a few people hand her envelopes with money in it. I'm guessing it's some kinda tradition so I don't bother asking.

"You didn't have to this." Tessa tells her cousin Bonnie as she walks towards us with a baby on her hip.

"Honestly, it's no problem at all." Bonnie says. Tessa reaches out for the baby and Bonnie hands the baby to her. "I'll be right back!" Bonnie says before she runs off.

"Hey there, handsome!" Tessa smiles at the baby and kisses him.

I love the fact that Tessa has a heart for little kids. She seems to like them alot. I know what it's like to have kids in the business industry. I remember reading an article long time ago about Tessa being pregnant. But she showed proof to everyone and told everyone that it was a stupid rumor.

"Oh.." Tessa mumbles as the baby start to cry. "Shh...come on." Tessa hushes the baby. I watch her as she cooes the baby and bounces it up and down in her arms, clearly not known what to do.

"What's his name?" I ask her once the baby stops crying.

"Sam. Everyone calls him Sammy." She tells me as she wipes blue frosting frosting from a cupcake onto her finger and holds it up to Sammy's mouth.
"You like that?" She cooes and kisses his bold head.

"Tessa!" A old women smiles as she walks towards us.

"Hey!" Tessa laughs and stands up. I take the baby from her and bounce Sammy up and down when he starts to cry.

"Is this your fiance? My god. He's so handsome." The lady gushes. She places her hand on my cheeks and kisses me a few types.

"It's nice to meet you." I say awkwardly once she lets me go. She pinches my cheeks and does the same with Tessa. She then turns to Tessa and starts to speak in spanish.

I walk back to my seat and place Sammy on my lap. I look up and look around the room and see that everyone's staring at me and smiling or waving. I smile at a few people. Everyone goes onto the dance floor as different coloured lights come on.
