Chapter 74 - The Black Family Part One

Tessa's P.O.V:
"You're parents..." Marshall says, making me sigh as I walk over to him and turn my back towards him. "As in your mom and dad?" He says as he pulls the zipper to my dress up. 

"Yes, my mom and dad. And my brothers and Karla and Chris and Nick." I sigh as I hand him my necklace. 

"Why?" He asks. 

"What's with all the questions?" I ask as he places the gold chain around my neck. 

"You've never brought up your mom and dad before." He shrugs as I fix the necklace around my neck and walk into my closet. 

"Iris! We need to leave!" I shout. "I have mentioned them." I state as I walk into my closet and look through the few pairs of heels I left here before I moved in with Marshall. 

"You haven't." Marshall says, making me sigh. 

"Well. What do you want to know?" I ask as I grab my heels and sit down on the stool. 

"I don't know. Anything." Marshall shrugs as he leans against the door frame. 

"I don't know anything either." I look up and watch Iris walk into the room. My eyes scan her jeans and black shirt, making me frown. 

"Why aren't you dressed?" I ask. 

"I am dressed." She says.

"Why aren't you wearing the dress that I gave you, Iris?" I sigh.

'I'm not the dress type of girl." She shrugs, making me roll my eyes. 

"Please Iris, just wear it on." I say as I stand up and walk past them to grab my jacket. 

"Look what she's making me wear." I hear Marshall, making me roll my eyes.

Marshall looks handsome in a suit so I dont know what the big deal is. I don't think Marshall and Iris understand how posh and fancy my family really is. 

Espically my mom and dad. I don't think I have ever seen my dad dressed in anything other than a suit and I don't think I have ever seen my mom wear anything else but her gowns and dresses. 

That's how fancy they are!

"Fine. I'll wear it." Iris says. "But can you tell me about your parents first please." She says.

"In the car. Now hurry up. My dad hates it when people are late." I say as I grab my jacket and walk past them and out of my room, leaving Marshall and Iris alone.

I walk down the stairs and grab the keys to my escalade before I walk out of my home. The four guards mumble something to me as the wave and nod. I smile at all of them and quickly get into the driver seat and slam the door shut. I let out small sigh and sink down into my seat.

It's been two weeks since I last saw my mom in New York and two weeks since we told the whole world about adopting Iris and life has been crazy ever since! 

Iris had to be schooled at home by a private teacher and Marshall and I could barley leave the mansion since the entrance was blocked by fans and paparazzi who slept outside in the cold night. 

The only person who was allowed into gates were Nick, Nathan, Blaire, our managers and that's about it. Marshall didn't let Kim bring their daughters, instead he would go to Kim's to visit them. 

Today is the day I reunite with my family. Jacob said that he would be there along with Andrew, Liam, our mom and our dad. He didnt mention anything about Leonardo, Alexander, Michael and Jay so I didn't ask. 

I asked Karl, Chris and Nick to tag alone and all of us agreed to meet at my parents house. I didn't want iris to come at first incase something crazy happened but my brothers and mom want her there.
