Marshall's P.O.V:
Iris climbs off from Tessa's hospital bed and walks towards me before I wrap my arm around her and hug her.

"She's gonna be fine." I whisper as we hug. "She's gonna be just fine." I mumble.

It's been 12 days since the attack and everyone's been a mess. Karla hasn't stopped crying and Chris hasn't been here for the last couple of days and Tessa's brothers...They went wild and are gone to look for our attackers whilst Iris and I stayed here, in the hospital with Karla who wouldn't leave Tessa's side.

"Can we go now?" Iris asks. I don't say anything and nod. I press the small button on the remote and within seconds a nurse appears and smiles at us sadly. Iris doesn't look away from Tessa as the nurse starts to push me on my wheel chair.

I keep my hand wrapped around Iris' hand as we make our way towards the elevator and pass the desk where patients stare at us through their rooms and staff whisper as we walk past then with our heads hanging low and our eyes glossy with tears.

The nurse stops pushing the wheel chair by the elevator and the three of us wait by the elevator silently before the door slides open. Doctor nods at us and smile at us sadly as they walk out and empty most of the lift.

I clear my throat awkwardly awkwardly as I cover my face whilst the nurse pushes me into the lift. Iris tightens her grip around my hand as I cover my face from some of the people in the lift who are recording me.

"Iri-" I start when a flash goes off on the camera. I don't get to finish my sentence when Iris starts to shout.

"Will you leave us the hell alone!" She shouts.

"Iris. Leave it." I say as I take her hand and pull her back to me. I don't have any energy for this. The door slides open and I feel my wheel chair being pulled back before i'm out of the lift with Iris following behind me as she glares at everyone.

"Would you like me to wait outside, Mr Mathers?" The nurse asks.

"Yeah." I nod.

"I'll take it from here." Iris says before she starts to push me inside the room. Iris stops my wheel chair when i'm right next to him. Letting out a small sigh, Iris walks towards the other side of the bed.

"Are you alright?" Iris asks when I hiss out in pain as I adjust my bad leg.

"I'm fine." I'm force the words out before it goes quiet between us for a few long minutes.

"And Nick?" Iris asks, making me look up at her.

"What about Nick?" I ask.

"Will he be fine?" She asks.

"Yeah." I let out a sigh. "They both will." I mumble.

"Will he wake up from his coma?" She asks.

"Yes." I nod.

"Are they in pain?" She asks.

"No." I shake my hand.

I look up at Nick and let out a small sigh. He had a bandage around his head which is stained with blood slightly. He has a cast around his arm and leg from where the bullet hit him. My eyes travel to his shoulder and just below his chest which also have bandages wrapped around them.

Nick was shot in the leg, just like I was. We came into the hospital and both of us lost a lot of blood but not like Tessa. She lost more blood than the two of us put together.

We came into the hospital around half an hour later and both of us lost a lot of blood but not like Tessa. She lost more blood than the both of us put together.
