Marshall's P.O.V:
I let out a sigh as I hover over the sink and open the tap. I splash cold water on my face and close the tap before I rip off some tissue papar and wipe my face. I curse under my breath when my phone starts to ring. I take it out of my back pocket and answer the call without checking the caller ID.

"What." I answer the phone.

"Is this a bad time?" I hear Iris ask from the other end.

"Iris. No." I say quickly. "It's not a bad time." I let out a small sigh and lean my back against the wall. "What's up?" I ask.

"Hey! Open the door!" I hear a man shout as he bangs on the door non stop.

"Fuck off!" I shout back as I cover the mic on the phone. I've been in the damn toilets for half an hour with the door locked and this man isn't the first one to knock and yell, there were atleast seven punks before him.

"Are...You sure this isn't a bad time?" Iris asks.

"No. It isn't." I say. "What's up?" I ask again.

"Well...I was bored and I know you have this new book realise party thing..." Iris says slowly.

"Yeah..." I say slowly. I'm guessing she's putting on an innocent voice and talking slowly because she knows I won't give her what she's asking for.

"Well." She sighs.

"Iris. What is it?" I ask impatiently when she stops speaking for a couple of seconds. "Come on. You can tell me or ask me for anything." I add.

"Can I go see Tessa?" She says quickly.

"No." I shoot back.

"What? Why not." She whines. "It's boring without her around and I haven't seen her in two weeks. Please Marshall." She begs.

"I said no." I shrug. Well...Technically Paul and Leroy said no. Tessa's probably a mess right now and the last thing that two bastards need is Tessa telling Iris everything whilst she's drunk.

"But-" She says before I cut her off.

"What did I tell you?" I raise my brow as I lean off the wall.

"Oh come on!" She huffs.

"What did I tell you?" I repeat.

"That Tessa is busy with her work and she is going through a lot with the whole Gayle thing...and that the last thing she needs is us hovering over her." She says in a bored tone.

"Exactly." I sigh.

"Well...If she's going through a lot cause of that pedo then how come you're not comforting her?" She asks.

"She has Nick." I sigh.

"She needs you." Iris tuts.

And I need her.

"Iris, i'm go-" I start but get cut off.

"If you love her then go help her. Be by her side. Hold her....Take care of her...Show her that life is to short to..to...Just waste it on crying on one person." She says.

"Yeah. Thanks for the emotional speech. I have to go." I say, making her laugh softly.

"I'm serious. I'm worried about her." Iris sighs.

"Yeah. Well you're not the only one." I whisper and let out a long sigh. "She just needs space, that's all." I say louder.

"Well...When you see her next time well you tell her that I miss her and wish she would come home?" Iris says.
