Marshall's P.O.V:
"Tessa!" I scream after her as she runs away from me and into the crowd. "Tessa! Stop!" I yell again. The man by the door follows me and stops behind me.

"Where the hell is she going?" He asks.

'She's looking for another exit." I shake my head.

"The only exit is on the right." He tells me, making me turn to face him. "Sir?" He looks down at me as I shake my head and curse under my breath.

"Give me one of these." I say as I take the walkie talkie from another guard who's standing behind me on the other side.

"Sir-" He starts but I cut him off.

"I want you to call me on this every minute so I can give you updates on Nick or where I am." I say and turn towards the other guy. "Go check where Tessa is going. Make sure she doesn't leave." I add.

"Sir where are you going!" He yells as I push through the crowd.

"To find Nick!" I yell back.

"You can't leave this place. It's too dangerous!" The man steps infront of me, blocking me from leaving the main entrance.

"It's been a couple of minutes since the last shot fired." I state. "The asshole with the gun is probably gone." I state and walk past him and towards the door.

"I can't let you leave." He tries again. My phone starts to ring, making me quickly reach for it incase it's Nicklaus.

"Hello!" I say quickly.

"Is she dead...I-is she gone?" Leroy's panicked voice reaches my my ears.

"No. She's-" I start but get cut off.

"Are you hurt?" He asks quickly.

"No." I state.

"Thank god you're safe." Leroy sighs. "How's Tessa." He asks quickly. "The security just phoned me and told me that there's been a shooting. "Where is she? Pass her the phone." He adds.

"She's not here." I state before it goes quiet between us for a few long seconds.

"What-" Leroy stops and clears his throat since it's all shaky. "What do you mean she's not here? Where is she Marshall, where the fuck is Tessa gone?" He shouts.

"We just stepped out of the club when the shooting happened." I state. "Tessa and I fell to the ground and Nick was a few feet away from us-" I carry on but get cut off.

"My god, Marshall." Leroy whispers. "Where the hell are they!" He yells.

"I think Nick is hurt." I state. "Tessa wanted to go out and look for him but we didn't let her and now she's gone to look for another exit." I explain.

"Where is he now?" He shouts.

"She's inside and the guards have covered the exit. She's safe. She's inside." I state and watch the guard standing infront of me nod at my words.

"What if the shooter is inside!" Leroy says.

"Ler-" I start but immediately stop. "What?" I ask in confusion as I look around the club.

"What if the shooter is inside!" He says again.

"He can't be." I shake my head. "No. He can't be." I repeat.

"Marshall." Leroy lets out a sigh.

"I have to go look for Nicklaus he's probably shot." I state, making Leroy let out a frustrated sigh.

"You don't understand." He says.

"Tessa is safe inside the club." I state and walk out of the club with the phone still pressed against my ear.
