Chapter 99 - Jay Sanchez Black

Marshall's P.O.V:
Jacob mumbles things in Spanish to his younger brother Jay who's been away from him for almost nine years now. Jay stays quiet as they hug and listens to Jacob speak in spanish.

Tessa had told me a few stories about Jay. I remember her telling me recently that she just found out Jay was kicked out of the house and that he didn't run away. She said that Jay and Jacob were really close and I can tell how close they actually just by the way they have been hugging eachother for the last few minutes.

Iris shifts in her spot as she watches her uncle Jacob speak in Spanish quietly whilst the rest of them stare at their younger brother in shock and relief at the same time.

Jay was different from the rest. Unlike the others who have dark grey eyes and a hint of blue in them, Jay has light airy blue eyes. His dark hair reaches just above his shoulders and he has tattoos that reach up to his neck and all over his hand and arms. You can also notice a few through his white top.

"¡Té extrañaba tanto!" Jacob mumbles the same words in Spanish over and over again.

{Translation: I missed you so much.}

"Yeah. Me too brother." Jay sighs before they both pull away from eachother. "Me too." He smiles at him lightly. "I had no choice but to leave." He adds.

"Don't start that bullshit with me, Jay." Jacob shakes his head. "You left us. You left me." He shake his head. Jay look away from Jacob and at the rest of the brothers as he shakes his head with a small sad smile on his lips.

They didn't tell Jacob the truth...

"Yeah. You're right. It was my choice." Jay sighs as he stares at Alexander and clenches his jaw.

"Her brother is here?" Karla whsipers. Chris looks up from the papers that are infront of him.

"What?" He says in confusion.

"He came to see Tessa." Nick shrugs.

"Where was he all this time?" Chris asks.

"England." Nick states. "Turns out he's been there the whole the time. In London." He adds.

"He's been living in London. Wow." Karla mumbles. "Wait...We are talking about Jay right? Jay Black..." Karla says as she places her red mug down that's full of coffee.

"He's back." Nick shrugs.

"Damn." Chris mumbles as Nick shakes his head.

"Is he staying here long?" I ask.

"I'm not sure. I hope so." Nick shrugs.

"He is nothing but trouble." Alexander says as he walks into the staff room. Karla rolls her eyes as she walks away from Nick and I and sits down next to Chris on the couch.

"He didn't do anything." Nick shrugs.

"You shouldn't be talking about things you don't know about, Nicklaus." Alexander says as he takes the red mug full of coffee from Nicks hand, making him clench his jaw slightly.

"You kicked him out." Nick says, making Alexander stop in his tracks in the door way. Alexander turns around with a small smirk plastered on his face.

"Like I said brother." Alexander says calmly before he drinks from Nicks cup. "You shouldn't talk about things you know nothing about." He says again.

"He was defending his little sister." Nick shrugs. Karla and Chris look up in confusion. "And you kicked him out." He states. "You threw him out because he wanted to deal with her rapist." Nick tilts his head to the side. "And you...Andrew and your fucked up dad told everyone that he ran away." He states. "You left him out in rain. You left him out in rain all bloody and hurt because he believed his sister instead of that bastard." Nick states as Alexander just stands there and stares at him. "And you say he's nothing but trouble?" Nick lets out a harsh laugh.

"I should be used to his harsh words by now, hu?" Jay walks in. Karla's eyes go wide as she stands up along with Chris. "Christopher." Jay smiles. "Good to see you little brother." He says as he walks past Alexander and embraces Chris in a hug.

"You too man." Chris chuckles as he hugs Jay.

"Damnn...Is that really Karla?" He says as he lets go of Chris.

"It's me." Karla nods as she smiles at Jay.

"Well come here then, hermosa." He waves Karla over before they hug eachother. "Wow...You've changed." Jay laughs softly. "You're hot. Like really hot." He says making Karla push him away as he laughs.

{Translation: Hermosa - Beautiful.}

"I see you're still the same." Karla rolls her eyes. "Something never change, hu?" Karla says as she sits down on the couch.

"No they fucking don't." Alexander and Jay mumble at the same time. Jay quickly look up at his brother who walks out of the room.

"Chips?" Iris says as she holds the bag towards Jay. Jay smiles and takes one out before he leans back into his seat as Iris walks back towards me.

"It's called crisp, princesa." Jay says, making Iris shake her head as she lays down on the bed next to me and places her head on my chest.

"Potato chips." Iris states.

"We can do this all night or you can just agree with me." Jay says, making Iris nod.

"I can do this all night too." Iris smiles before she pops another chip into her mouth.

"Trust me....He can go all night." Jacob says as he stands up. "I'm gonna call it a night." He says as he walks towards Tessa and places a kiss on her forhead. "Jay?" He says as he stands up straight. 

"I think I might stay here for the night." Jay says as he looks up at his brother.

"You can stay at my place." He shrugs, making Jay shake his head.

"I'm gonna stay here by Tess." Jay says, making Jacob nod before they clap hands. Iris picks up her bag and jacket before she walks towards me and give me a hug.

"I'll see you tomorrow dad." She says as I hug her back.

"Finish of your homework." I mumble before I hear her let out a sigh. "I love you." I add.

"Love you too." She says as she takes a step back. "Goodnight." She smiles.

"Night." I say as I watch her walk towards Tessa. She places a gentle kiss on Tessa's cheek before she walks out the door.

"Ay, what about me?" Jay says before she can walk out. Iris lets out a small laugh and walk towards Jay. "Night, princesa." He mumbles.

{Translation: Princess.}

"Night uncle Jay." She says before she walks towards Jacob who's standing in the door way and waiting for Iris. "And it's crisp!" She says quickly.

"Don't make me come after you!" He shoots back as she walks out, making her laugh slightly as I smile and watch her walk away through the window. "She's beautiful." Jay states, making me look away from the window.

"She is, isn't she?" I smile proudly.

"Is she also part of the contract?" He asks, making my smile slowly fade away as I turn to face him.
