Tessa's P.O.V:
"You were gone for so long." I sigh as Jay hugs me. Jay kisses my cheek as he strokes my hair. "I missed you." I mumble, making him let out a sigh.

"I missed you too, sis." He whispers in my ear I let out a painful moan when I feel pain in my abodemen. He pulls away quickly, making me shake my head at him

"I'm fine." I tell him and watch him let out a sigh before he smiles at me, making me return the smile back before he sits down next to me on the bed and wraps his arm around me.

"How are you feeling? I mean....I know it's still painful-" He say but I cut in.

"...Tired." I say, making him let out a small chuckle. "Where were you?" I ask, making the smile on his lips dissappear.

"It's, uhr, complicated." He clears his throat.

"Jay." I sigh and watch him shake his head. "Was it because of me? Did you leave because of me?" I ask and watch him shake his head again which only makes me sigh. "Then what?" I raise my brow. I push back a painful moan when I feel another shooting pain in my abodemen.

"I met a girl." He says, making me roll my eyes.

"You meet a different girl every other day." I state.

"Yeah well she's different." He shrugs.

"How different? Instead of sleeping with you on the first night, she waited another 24 hours and slept with you on the second night?" I say and watch him let out a soft laugh.

"It's not like that." He says.

"Yeah...I know. You're a player." I shrug. "You and Jake both, no wonder your always hanging around eachother." I add and watch him let out another laugh.

"She's just a friend, Tess." He states.

"Uh hu..." I say slowly and watch him roll his eyes.

"I'm serious. She's my best friend." He shrugs.

"And how long have you been with your 'friend'." I ask.

"A couple of years." He shrugs. "We have a house together in London." He adds. "Pretty house...Not too big but not too small." He adds.

"Hmm." I nod and wait for him to carry on.

"She works for managers....Part of the music industry." He explains.

"Well, do I know her?" I ask and watch him shake his head.

"No. She doesn't like to be known. She stays behind the curtin." He explains and I nod before it goes quiet between us.

"When can I meet her?" I ask.

"No lo sé." He mumbles making me let out a sigh as he climbs off the bed and walks towards the window.

{Translation: I don't know.}

Back when we were teenagers, Jay would never bring a girl home that he actually liked because my brothers and parents wouldn't approve of her and would make him break up with her. Guess he thinks the family is still the same and he doesn't want me to meet his friend.

"Oh....It's national bagel day." I try to change the subject as I look down at the leaflet infront of me. "Yum." I mumble. "Oh. It's your birthday!" I say quickly and watch him turn around to face me.

"You remembered." He smiles lightly.

"I remember when Jacob gifted you a crate of bagels cause it was national bagel day and your birthday." I say and watch him as he laughs softly. "Happy birthday." I say as he walks towards me and hugs me.
