Chapter 49 - Unwanted Feelings

Marshall's P.O.V:
"Ireland!!! Make some motherfuckin' noise for my fiancé-" I shout into the mic and the crowd goes wild. I breath heavily as I stare at the thousands of people chanting for Tessa to come out. 

"I don't think they're ready." Proof says into the mic. 

"Yeah neither do I." I say  before I drink water from my bottle. "Ireland!" I shout into the mic again. "Make some noise for my fiancé!" I shout. "Tessa Black!!" I scream into the mic. 

The crowd goes wild making me laugh along with Proof. I get out a cut out board of Tessa and wrap my arm around it and kiss it. Proof laughs as he walks towards the cut out of Tessa. 

"Tessa Black everyone!" Proof says. The crowd boo's a little. "Come on now, you all came to see D12." Proof says. 

"Tessa! Tessa! Tessa!" The crowd chants as I wipe my sweat with a white towel and then drop it on the floor. 

"I'm gonna be real with you." I say into the mic. "Unfortunately Tessa couldn't be here." I say making the crowd 'aw'. "But she sends her love to her fans." I add making them cheer. 

"How about we play one of her songs?" Proof suggests. 

"Good idea...Ireland? What do you say?" I say into the mic as I move the mic away and watch them scream. "Dj.." I turn towards the Dj. 

The track that Tessa did with Jay Z and Kanye West comes on and the crowd goes wild. I start to rap Jay Z's verse with the help of Proof and the crowd. I stop at the edge of the stage and look out at the crowd as I rap the last last line of the first verse. 

"Ireland! Sing it!" Proof shouts into the mic when the hook plays.

The crowd sings but before they can get onto the second verse of the hook, the lift rises up and Tessa appears on stage as she sings the hook. The fans go wild and start to sing along. 

I admire Tessa as she sings into the mic and touches hands with the fans. She a bigger artist than I am and has been in the music industry longer than I have so clearly some of my fans are her fans too.

It had been a couple of weeks since the whole Tessa and Marcus thing. The paparazzi had taken some pictures of them drinking and talking at the tattoo place.

Leroy and Paul were both furious at her which fucking pissed me off. I noticed now that Leroy is a really fucking asshole and treats her like shit.

Tessa makes one damn mistake and Leroy's is on the phone, shouting at her straight away. So I had a word with both of our managers myslef.

I told them about the whole Tessa and Marcus thing an they both gave Tessa some space. Of course she doesn't know that I had a word with her managers.

I actually want it to stay that way too. The last things I need is for Tessa to see me have any sort of feelings towards her.

It's stupid and pontless to feel for her when all of this is going to end once the contract is over and when she moves back to California. We can't keep in touch with eachother once it's all over, it's in the contract.

So before I started getting close with Tessa, I told myself that all we are is friends benifits and there can be nothing more for us.

But I failed. I broke one of my own rules and fell for another woman. Ever since Kim and I broke up, I told myself that she was the last one and that the last thing I need is to get into another relationship. I have a career to think about and daughters to look after.

Tessa is totally the opposite of what I usually go for. She's full of feelings and she's fragile. She doesn't give two shits about herself and looks after everyone around her. She the oppisite of Kim.
