Jays P.O.V:
"Hey." I whisper into Rose's ear as I stand behind her, making her jump back into my arms. I let out a laugh as I wrap my arms around her from the back and hug her.

"I fucking hate you." She says breathlessly as she leans back into my arms.

"You fucking love me." I mumble as I kiss her one more time and let go off her. "So...I take it you went out with pig face then?" I say, making her laugh softly.

"My sister needs to give me some privacy and needs to stop telling you everything." She states.

"Anna was worried, Rose." I shrug. "But it's good you're seeing....Him." I add slowly.

"Him? You can't even say his name." She says as she crosses her arms across her chest.

"Course I can." I shrug.

"Say it." She smile lightly.

"Pig face." I shrug, making her laugh softly.

"Stop calling him that." She tuts and tries to hide her amusement.

"Fine....Louis." I mumble his name. "It's good you're seeing him." I say as I walk towards the sink and start to wash my hands.

"Oh yeah?" I hear her mumble.

"Yeah." I say with my back still turned back towards her. "We were over a very long time ago, Rose." I state and see her drop her head a little through the mirror. "You...Moved on just like I did...It's been years. I think its time you started seeing others." The words come out of my mouth like they're acid. It's been a couple of years since we ended our relationship and instead became friends but I still have unwanted feelings towards her.

"Okay. Stop talking to my mother and sister." She says, making me turn to face her.

"Why?" I ask and walk past her to dry my hands on the towel.

"Because. They made you say that." She states. "You hate Louis. You would never let me date someone like that." She adds before it goes quiet between us.

"What's there to eat?" I ask as I rub my hands together.

"It's midnight." She states. "But....there's some left over pizza from the morning." She tells me.

"Ohh, yes!....Left over pizza." I say sarcastically making her Rose roll her eyes as she places the pizza in the microwave and warms it up.

"So. How was your flight?" She asks as she turns to face me. I reach for the bowl that's full of mixed nuts as I wait for the pizza to get heated.

"It was long." I shrug as I throw a walnut in my mouth. I glance up at the mug full of coffee in front of her. "You staying up again?" I ask before I throw an almond into my mouth.

"Yeah. I've got...A lot of work to catch up on." She explains nervously as she taps her fingers on the counter top.

"Work?" I repeat.

"Jay. I'm not doing this with you." She lets out a long sigh as she pushes her cherry coloured hair out of her way.

"I'm just asking." I shrug.

"You're not just asking." She mumbles before it goes quiet between us. The microwave starts to beep and I keep my eyes fixed on the mixed nuts bowl as Rose gets the pizza and places the plate infront of me.

"She's my baby sister." I state as she walks towards the cabinet to get the sauces out.

"I'm not having this conversation with you, Jay." I hear her sigh before she walks towards me and places the sauce tubs infront of me. Before she can walk away like she always does, I quickly grab a hold of her wrist.
