Tessa's P.O.V:
"What the hell does that mean?" I whisper. I keep eyes fixed on the lake as I let tears run down my cheeks. I don't let out a sob. I don't bother making noise since I don't want to look weak.

From the room next door I hear a loud smashing noise and then shouting. I squeeze my eyes shut and wipe my wet cheeks as I bite on my lip to prevent any noise coming out.

He's found out everything and he's throwing an tantrum next door by smashing his whole room up. All I want to do is run away back to California and just be with Karla and Chris.

It's been a few minutes now since I last spoke but all I got was I sigh in response. I huff as I wipe my wet cheeks again and run my fingers through my hair before I ball my hair up in frustration.

"What the hell does that mean?" I say through gritted teeth. After a long pause I hear another sad sigh.

"It means that you have to wait for the contract to end." Leroy finally says. I squeeze my eyes shut and lightly place my forehead against the cold glass window.

"I want to end this." I sigh with my eyes still closed but I get no answer. The only noise is coming from next door where I can here Marshall smashing things and screaming at his manager. "I want to fucking end this!" I shout and open my eyes.

"You can't." Leroy says quietly.

"Yes. Yes I fucking can!" I say through gritted teeth. I wipe my cheeks and turn to face him.

"We're not the only ones who know about the contract, Tessa. I already explained this to you." Leroy says as he stands up.

"I don't fucking care. End it!" I shout.

"Listen to me." Leroy says softly as he places his hand my arm gently.

"No!" I shout and pull back.

"Tessa. Listen to me and calm down." Leroy says softly. I turn my back towards him and look through the window at the lake.

"It's never going to work. I know it. You know it. Paul knows and Marshall knows it!" I say.

"There are people who are bigger than us. They control the contract. Not me or Paul." Leory says, completely ignoring me.

"You didn't tell me about these other people who control this contract, you didn't even mention them. You've trapped me into this." I cut in.

"This contract ends when they say it ends." Leory says, ignoring me once again.

"I looked up to you as a father and then you go and do this to me." I shake my head in disbelief.

"It ends in three to four years." Leroy carries on as if he didn't hear me speak.

"I didn't know you could be so evil and money thirsty." I yell as I turn to face him.

"You have to make this work." Leroy sighs. I ignore him and storm past him. I run up the stairs and slam the bedroom door behind me before I walk towards my suitcase and start to pack.

"Room service!" I hear a knock on the door. Sighing, I get up from the couch and walk over to the door. I open it and watch the lady walk in with a cart that's filled with food.

"Morning." I groan as I rub my eyes.

"Good morning." The lady says cheerfully. "Where should I place your breakfast?" She asks kindly. Leroy must have ordered breakfast because I sure as hell didn't. The last thing I need is to gain weight.
