London. We're back. Not as best friends. As boyfriend and girlfriend. Me and Nathan are getting off the train, when we here a scream and then...

"Oh Nathan, I've missed you so much!" Gabriella shrieks as she forcefully wraps her arms around Nathan.

"Get off Gabriella! I have something to tell you." Nathan says.

This is it. Let's just hope that she reacts well and doesn't cause a scene.

"It's over. I don't want to marry you." Nathan says as he takes hold of my hand.

"So are th saying we should postpone the wedding?" Says Gabriella as she takes hold of Nathan's arms. He just shakes her off.

"No. When I say it's over, I mean no wedding, no relationship, no us." Says Nathan as his grip on me tightens, causing me to wince in pain.

"Sorry babe." Nathan says.

"Nathan. Please. We can talk about this." Says Gabriella as she tries to tag along with us as we walk away.

"Go home Gabriella. I don't want to speak to you again." Nathan almost shouts.

"What about my stuff?" Says Gabriella.

"I'll have it waiting outside. You can get it later." Nathan says.

We exit the train station and then get a cab back to Nathan's house. We pay the cab driver and then go inside. I notice that there is a lot of French decoration around.

"Harper. Move in with me!" Nathan says as he take hold of my hands for the billionth time.

"Nathan. You have just broken up with your fiancé. Give it a bit more time. I promise that I'll think about it.

"You're right. Baby steps." Nathan says as he embraces me in a hug.

"Forever?" I say as I look into his beautiful eyes.

"Forever." Nathan replies as he locks our lips together.

"Perhaps forever will be our ok and always." I say as I smile at the thought of one of my favourite movies.

"You look shattered. You can stay the night if you want?" Says Nathan as he caresses my face.

"What, and sleep in the same bed as thaf French tart, dream on sunshine." I say, almost snorting.

"Do you want me to drive you home?" Nathan asks.

"Please, I can't afford another cab fair." I say as I pick up my bags once again.

"You're going now? What about I cook you dinner first?" Says Nathan as he blocks the door.

"Nathan, I love the gesture, but I really want to be alone with my mother's ashes. Have some mother and daughter time." I say with a smile.

Nathan drops me home and the only thing I can think about is if he still lives Gbariella. I have to ask him. I don't care if he ended things with me, I need to know. Am I seriously risking something over a question. Yes. Yes I am.

"Hi, this is Nathan. Please leave a message after the tone." Says Nathan's voicemail.

I moan in annoyance and then toss my phone next to me. I switch on my t.v. and the news comes on.

"A woman's body has been found writhing the last few hours in a bathroom stall in a shopping centre. It is believed thag the woman hung herself. She was discovered by Mika Saunders." Says the female news reporter.

"I was taking my 4 year old to the loo and all the stalls were full. I noticed this door wasn't locked and opened it. That's when I found her body on the floor. The rope must have snapped from her dead bodyweight." Says the witness.

I shrug and turn over to another program. I end up watching The Ellen Degeneres Show. Me and my mum would always watch this together and Ellen would always make me smile. I always sing along to the theme tune, but just as it goes into the actual program, Nathan calls me.

"Hello?" I say.

"Hey. You called?" Says Nathan. He must be walking around because I can hear door opening and closing.

"Yeah. Look. This is going to sound really bad coming from me, but he a me out." I say.

"What?" Nathan says.

"DoyoustillloveGabriella?" I say way too quickly.

"Woah, slow down. What did you say?" Says Nathan as he chuckles.

"Sorry. Do you still love Gabriella?" I say as I take a few deep breaths.

"No. I love you and only you." Says Nathan.

"Ok. Hey. Can you come round for a bit. I feel lonely, but I'm comfortable. Oh, and bring Ben and Jerry's cookie dough ice cream and Smirnoff Ice to drink afterwards. Thanks. Love you" I say, lnowminf full well that he would come round even if I spoke at normal speed.

I look around my flat and notice that it looks like a dump. I quickly tidy everything as best as I can. I also do tbe washing up, but don't bother to dry and put away. I manage to have a quick shower and then get into my pyjamas before my amazing boyfriend knocks on my door. I let him in and then I get two bowls and two spoons.

"One cookie dough ice cream and a big bottle of Smirnoff Ice." Says Nathan as he puts the plastic carrier bag between us.
