We've been at the ALDC for half an hour and Abby said we can stay for the whole day. The girls are dancing with Lily, whilst I go and sit with the other mum's.
"Are you here with your husband and Lily?" Holly asks.
"Yes, but we brought our twins along aswell." I say.
"Aww, how old are they?" Jill asks.
"They'll be 2 on December 12th." I say.
"How old's Lily?" Jessalynn asks.
"Just turned 4." I say.
"You were on the x factor, right?" Keira asks.
"Yeah, I wanted to move to America and start an album, but I can't get signed and I don't have enough money to support our family." I say.
"How much would it mean to you if you moved to America and got Lily signed to ALDC? We can tell she loves dancing." Mellisa says.
"It would mean the world, but I'm not eligible for a visa." I say.
"There's things you can do." Holly says.
"I know. How often are you in L.A, because of the studio in Pennsylvania?" I ask.
"We are here most weekends." They all say.
"I'll talk to Nathan about it. Can you help me? Not financially, but helping me find a place if I manage to get visa's for us all?" I ask.
"Of course. If it does happen, the girls will be ecstatic to be dancing with Lily. She's a little young to be on their team, but she'll move up when she's about 7." Jill says.
"I never thought I would meet you guys. I've watched you on t.v, but actually being in the same room as you, it's just weird." I say.
" I know and its weird that the day you come, there are no camera's." Jessalynn says.
"You don't feel lile I'm barging in, hoping to move to America and get my daughter dancing here, do you?" I ask.
"No, of course not! The girls love you an Lily and hopefully one day, if they meet the twins, then they will be loved too." Mellisa says.
"They look like they are having so much fun." Keira says.
"Yeah." I say.
The girls start to wave their arms and we all go over.
"You having fun baby?" I ask.
"Yeah. I want to stay here forever!" Lily says.
"Well, it might happen." I say.
"Wait, what?" Nia says.
"I'm gonna try and get signed with a record label and hopefully, be able to move out here." I say.
"Oh mt God. Can Lily dance at ALDC and when she's old enough, she can be on the completion team?" Kendall asks.
"Hopefully yes. As soon as we go home, I'm going to get her to start dance lessons 5 days a week and gymnastics 3 times a week." I say.
"Mummy! Me, Maddie, Mackenzie, Nia, Kendall, JoJo and Kalani want to show you something." Lily says.
"Ok. Where do you want me and the other mum's to stand?" I ask.
"Over there." Lily says pointing to where the moms stand for pyramid.
Kalani presses play on the radio and a drum roll starts. Then Nia steps up with a curtain prop.
"Presenting, Lily Montgomery!" Nia says.
We applaud and then Nia moves. Lily comes forward with JoJo and they start doing their thing. I can tell already that Lily is loving dance. Then Kendall stands on Lily's other side, Maddie behind, Nia next to Maddie and Mackenzie on Maddie's other side. They finish their dance and we all applaud.
"Harper, I'm telling you, these girls have taught your daughter something, and she has potential." Abby says.
"Thanks Abby." I say.
"One thing." She says.
"Yeah?" I say.
"Lily's feet need to be more pointed." Abby says.
My smile fades.
"I'm kidding!" She says.
"Can we go for lunch, like all if us? Mom's and us, and you and Lily?" Mackenzie asks.
"Abby, is that ok with you?" I ask.
"Sure, but I can't come. I've just been told there is a problem with the studio back in Pennsylvania so I need to get the next possible flight there. Harper, it was lovely meet in you. Lily, keep dancing!" Abby says.
"Bye bye!" Lily says.
Abby embraces me in a hug.
"Thank you so much Abby." I say.
"You're welcome. I can see big things happening for this kid." She says.
"She loves it." I say.
We break apart and then Abby leaves. The girls go nd get changed and I change Lily. The moms go in their cars, but I came by taxi, so Mellisa offers to give us a loft to wherever we are going.
"Lily, you don't mind aittinf in the middle of Maddie and Mackenzie?" I ask.
"No." She says.
Mackenzie gets in and then Lily, then Maddie gets in. I get into the front with Mellisa and then she follows the other cars. We drive to taco bell and just as we are sitting down, Nathan calls me.
"I'll be two minutes. It's Nathan." I say.
I excuse myself and go outside. Then I answer.
"Hi." I say.
"Hi, where are you?" Nathan asks.
"At Taco Bell, why?" I ask.
"And you didn't think to ask if me and the twins wanted to come?" Nathan says.
"I'm with Lily, Nia, Kalani, Mackenzie, Kendall, Maddie, JoJo, Holly, Keira, Mellisa, Jill and Jessalyn." I say.
"Who?" Nathan says, clearly confused about the amount of people.
"The mum's and dancers from fance mums." I say.
"Oh okay. Me, Charlie and Sophie are eating lunch now and we are going to go out the the hotel pool." Nathan says.
"Ok. Are they behaving?" I ask.
"Yeah. Ill let you get back. I love you." Nathan says.
"I love you to." I say.
I end the call and hen go back inside. I sit down and we order drinks.
"Who did you talk to mummy?" Lily asks.
"It was daddy." I say.
After our drinks, we order food and after 20 minutes, it's brought to the table. We start to eat, but then Lily insists that she goes to the toilet. I take her and we return to the table.
"What day are you going on Ellen?" Jill asks.
"Not tomorrow, but the day after." I say.
"Didn't you bring your aunt Rachel last time?" Jessalynn asks.
I stop eating when I hear her name. I feel a tear escape my eye and then I realize everyone around the table is looking at me.
"I'm so sorry. I didn't mean to offend you." Jessalynn says.
"No it's ok. It's just, something happened and I haven't spoke to Rachel or Tom in over a year." I say.
We continue eating and then we go back to the studio. It's about 5 pm and I realize that time is getting on.
