I'm due to have the baby in just a few days. I have been feeling pressure, by not the kind of pressure my doctor told me I should feel. Also, the doctor wants to tell me and Nathan about something so we are heading to the hospital.

"Nathan." I say.

"Yeah?" Says Nathan.

"What of the news that th doctor has is bad? Like, what if he tells us that the baby has already passed before we even get to meet her?" I say.

"Right, have you felt the baby in the last 24 hours?" Asks Nathan.

"Yes." I say.

"Well, if you've felt the baby move since the last time we saw the doctor, what are the chances of the baby already passing?" Says Nathan.

"Sorry." I say.

We arrive at the hospital and are now sitting opposite the doctor in his office. He starts to speak and my hand I tightly gripping Nathan's throughout the whole conversation.

"So, do you removed when we called you in for a blood test?" Asks the doctor.

"Yes." I say.

"Well, we got yours mixed up with another pregnant woman." Says the doctor.

"Ok. What does this mean?" I say.

"It means that you are not having a boy, but a girl." Says the doctor.

"W-what?" I stutter.

"Is that bad or good?" Asks the doctor.

"Good, but I think she's coming." I say.

"Harper. Are you being serious?" Asks Nathan.

"Yes. The pressure is really bad and it feels like some things pushing, like its ready to come out." I say.

"Ok. Let's get you into a room and we can get your midwife to assess you." Says the doctor.

"Can you walk or do you want me to carry you?" Asks Nathan.

"I can walk." I say.

We get a room quickly and I'm soon given pain relief and I'm examined.

"You're only about a centimetre. Let's give it an hour and if you haven't moved then we may have to consider sending you home." Says the midwife.

"Ok." I say.

"Do you want me to go home and get the bag for you and the bag for baby?" Asks Nathan.

I nod my head. Whilst I'm alone in the room, I try to get some sleep, but it's no use so I ring auntie Rachel.

"Hello?" Says my aunt Rachel.

"Hey. I'm at the hospital." I say.

"Why, what's happened? Is my great nephew ok?" Ask a Rachel.

"Your great niece is fine an she is about to make her grand entrance onto the world." I say as a smile grows on my face.

"Wait, did you say niece, she and her?" Exclaims Rachel.

"I did. Can you come down. I need you." I ask.

"I'll come as soon as I finish work. I'll buy a train ticket now." Says Rachel.

"Ok. Ow, ow, ow, ow!" I say as I wince in pain.

"Wheres Nathan?" Asks Rachel.

"Gone home to get the baby bag." I say.

"Ok. I'll call you when I'm on my way. I love you." Says Rachel.

"I love you to, bye." I say.

I end the call and then I call Nathan. It goes straight to voicemail so I start to panic. I'm pacing around the room when another contraction comes. My midwife comes in and helps me back onto the bed.

"Right. Let's examjn you again. You seem like your in am it of pain." Says my midwife.

"I never got your name." I say.

"Fiona." Says the midwife.

"Ok. How far along am I?" I ask.

"Around 3 cm. Since the last tie I spoke to you, you have progressed a lot. Still a while to go, but at the rate you're going, you shouldn't be too long." Says Fiona.

"Ok." I say.

She leaves the room and I call Nathan again. He answers this time and I sigh with relief.

"Hey." Says Nathan.

"Nathan. Where are you?" I ask.

"I'm coming in the hospital now." Says Nathan.

"Ok. My aunt Rachel is on her way so she should be here before the night is out." I say

"Ok. Have you been examined again?" Asks Nathan as he sits on the edge of my bed.

"Yeah. I've only moved 2 centimetres and they haven't told me if they are sending me home or not." I say.

"Do you want to go home?" Asks Nathan.

"No. I want this baby out of me." I say.

"Hey. Since it's a girl, we need to think of a name." Says Nathan.

"I've always liked Lily." I say.

"I like it to." Says Nathan.

"What about a middle name?" I ask.

"What about Lily May Montgomery." Nathan suggests.

"Hmmm, I'm not to keen on May. How about Lily Rose Montgomery?" I say.

"I like it." Says Nathan.

"Well Lily Rose Montgomery, your daddy and I are excited to meet you so you better get a move on." I say.

"Yes, we love you very very much and we are sorry we thought you were a boy." Says Nathan.

I lay back in bed and then anothe contraction comes. I bend over and clutch my stomach and moannin pain.

"You alright?" Nathan asks me after it has passed.

"Yeah. This hurt a so much." I say.

"I'll go and see if we can get you some more pain relief." Says Nathan.

Nathan leaves the room and I just lay there. I can't believe that he is going to the army and I'm going to be alone with our baby girl. Well, I won't be completely alone, I'll have my aunt Rachel, but she isn't Nathan.

"Ok. You look about 4 centimetres. You're moving quite fast for your first baby. Shouldn't be too long now." Says the midwife.

"Ok, thank you." I say.

She leaves the room and then I fall asleep. I soon wake-up in some place that's dark and outside. I think it's an alley.

"Hey she's awake." Says one person.

"Come on, let's make her feel the pain." Says another.

I look at two men. One's holding a knife and its pointed directly able my stomach.

"No!" "Please" "don't hurt my baby!" I plead

The knife a lowered, but it's still in the hand of one of the people. The bring the knife to where a c-section would be performed and just as the razor Sharpe knife is penetrating my skin, I kplt awak with cold see a on my face.

I am breathing rapidly. Nathan is in the corner, asleep on a chair. I look towards my baby bump and everything seems fine. Another contraction comes and a yell out in pain.
