I decided to get the coach to Manchester to save money on petrol. I'm about to get off when I get a call from Rachel.

"What?" I say stubbornly.

"I heard your going to Manchester." Says Rachel.

"Yeah. To tell nan and grandad everything! So don't you dare try and stop me." I say.

"Look, Harper. I'm really sorry I didn't tell you before." Says Rachel.

"No. It's not good enough. Who keeps from their child for nearly 3 decades that their birth mum is pretending to be their aunt. What about when I went on xfactor eh? What about when I went on the Ellen show? You've ruined your chances of being a nan to my kids." I say.

I end the call before she can reply. We get yo my stops and the coach driver gets my bag from underneath the coach. I thank him and since the coach stop is in the middle of town, I walk back to my grandparents house.

"Harper. What a surprise!" Says my nan.

"Hi nan. I need to tell you something." I say.

We go inside. Me, my nan and my grandad are all sitting on the couch.

"Well? What do you need to tell us?" My nan asks.

"You knwo tour daughter Rachel? She's my mum." I say.

"Wait, what?" Says my nan.

"That's right. Rachel has lied to you for 28 years that she had a daughter." I say.

"Our Rachel wouldn't do that!" My grandad says.

"Ok then. Also, my dad is 'uncle tom' and hea in the hospital in London." I say.

I get my phone and dial Rachel's number. She answers and I out it on speaker.

"Hello?" Says Rachel.

"Tell them that your my mum. Tell them its true." I say.

There's a pause.

"Mum, dad, it's true. I'm sorry. I wish I had told you the truth." Says Rachel.

"Rachel. I am very disappointed in you. Why didn't you tell us?" Asks my nan.

"I was scared. I was only 15." Says Rachel.

"15! We had no idea!" Says my grandad.

"Look. I'm coming back home soon. I don't know if Tom will come with me. Harper. Please let me be a part of your life as your mum and not your aunty. Please let me be a part of Sophie, Charlie and Lily's lives as their nan and not their great aunt. That's all I ask of you." Asks Rachel.

"No." I say stubbornly.

I end the call and then sit down on the couch.

"Where are you going to stay?" Asks nan.

"Not Herr. She knows I'll be here. I'm not stay in the house. I'll go to the b&b in town." I say.

"Harper. Please." Says my grandad.

"I just need some space. I'll be back tomorrow." I say.

I pick up my bag and put it on my shoulder. It's a duffel bag, so it has handles and a shoulder still strap. I leave my grandparent's house and start walking to town. I don't want to get the bus, so I just walk. I start crying, but when I come across star bucks, I smile. This is the shop where me and Nathan reconnected. Not this actual shop, but it was called Starbucks. I carry on walking and it starts to rain. I get to the b&b and unfortunately it closed down and is bordered up. I go tho the us stop. There are a group of 3 girls and two if them are comforting the one in middle. They look about 11 or 12 so I decide to sort of step in.

"Are you ok?" I ask.

The girl that is in the middle looks up at me.

"I just found out my mum isn't my real mum. I'm adopted!" The girl says.

"It's ok. I'm going through a similar situation. I just got out of a coma a week ago and in round out my aunty isn't my aunty. She's my mum. My real auntnis dead." I say

"That's awful." Says the girl on the left.

"Look. Let me take you three to the cafe." I say.

"No, it's ok. My bus is here now. Thank you though." Says the girl in the middle.

The three girls get on the bus. I watch it drive away and then walk. I don't knwo where to go so I just carry on walking. The rain stops and I soon find myself at the ticket office. Being in Manchester brings back too many bad memories. So does London. Where do I go? I can leave my shop! I can't just leave my nan and grandad.

"Hi. I'd like to buy a ticket from here to London Victoria Coach Station." I say.

"Ok. One way or return?" Asks the man.

"One way please." I say.

"He many people will be travelling?" Asks the man.

"Me, myself and I." I say.

"And, when do you wish to depart?" Asks the man.

"The next coach possible please." I request.

"Ok. The next coach is at half 11 tonight from the coach stop just outside here. I'll print your ticket of now." Says the man.

"Thank you." I say.

The man pushesbhis chair and collects the paper's. He hands them to me and I get my purse out.

"That is £40 please." Says the man.

I get my card out and then put it in the machines. I put my pin in and after the transaction is completed, I leave the ticket office. I go to the bus stop and go back to my grandparents house. Whilst on the bus, I decide to call Nathan.

"Nathan. We have to go. I can't stand Manchester or London anymore. Being in the same country as Rachel and Tom makes my skin crawl. I don't want to leave my bridal shop. I don't want to leave Connor on his own, but if any stay in England." I say.

"Woah, Harper. Calm down. I know your angry and upset, but do you think that emigrating to another country is the right option? I mean, where will we go?" Asks Nathan.

"I don't know. I'm gonna contact the U.S government. America could be good for us." I say.

"Ok. Can we talk about this when you got home?" Says Nathan.

"Yes." I say.

"I love you." Say Nathan.

"I love you to." I reply.

I end the call and he off te bus. I get back to the hour and then go inside.
