"Harper, Harper!" A voice says.
My eyes flutter open and I'm on a floor. I'm at home. Nathan.
"What happened?" I ask.
"You stood up and tripped. Are you ok?" Nathan asks.
"Where are the kids?" I ask.
"In the garden." Nathan says.
"Oh my God." I say.
I sit up and look at Nathan. I start crying and a back away from Nathan.
"How could you?" I ask.
"What?" Nathan says.
"Why didn't you tell me?" I ask.
"Tell you what?" Nathan asks.
"Tell me that your ex fiancé is still alive." I say.
"Harper. She's dead!" Nathan says.
"But, you said, and you're friends, they were hitting on me!" I say.
"Harper. No one was hitting on you!" Nathan says.
"So I just imagined it?" I ask.
"Yes." Nathan says.
I crawl towards Nathan and then hug him. He helps me up and I sit on the sofa.
"Harper. How about we go up to Manchester?" Nathan asks.
"What, to visit Rachel and Tom?" I say.
"Maybe you should see them. They are your mum and dad." Nathan says.
"The only reason I would ever go back to Manchester is to visit my nan and grandad." I say.
"Why don't we go and see them then?" Nathan asks.
"We can't. Lily has her club tomorrow and I'm busy on Sunday." I say.
"Why, what are you doing?" Nathan asks.
"Nothing, it's not important." I say.
"Harper, you can tell me." Nathan says.
"Why do you want to know so much?" I ask.
"Harper. Why aren't you telling me?" Nathan asks.
"Fine. I'm going to a strip club for Hailey's engagement! She met a new guy called Darren and he proposed just after the twins were born." I say.
"Ok." Nathan says.
I get yo and go into the garden. Lily is on the trampoline and the twins are in the sand pit.
"Hey Lily." I say.
"Mummy! Come on the trampoline with me!" Lily says.
I climb on and start bouncing with her. Nathan comes out and then my leg goes funny and I fall. There's a net, otherwise I would have fallen off.
"Harper. You alright?" Nathan asks as he walks over.
"Yeah. You alright Lily? Did ao hurt you?" I ask.
"Yeah. Does our leg hurt mummy?" Lily asks.
"No." I say.
I get off the trampoline and Nathan gives me a piggy back round the garden. He starts running and then he falls. I'm on top of him, but he rolls us over so he's on top.
"I love you." I say as I stare I to his glistening orbs.
"I love you to." I say.
Nathan brings his lips onto mine. We continue to kiss before Lily jumps onto Nathan's back.
"Hey you." Nathan says.
Nathan gets up and chases Lily round the garden. I sit up and then notice Charlie throwing sand at Sophie.
"Charlie. That's not nice. Say sorry to your sister right now!" I say as I go over to the sand.
Charlie leans forward and hugs Sophie. I take them inside and give them a bath. After that, I put them down for a nap and when I go downstairs, Nathan and Lily are singing along to frozen.
"Can you keep it down, the twins have just fine down for a nap!" I whisper.
"Mummy! Can you sing love is an open door with daddy?" Lily asks.
"Really? Can I not just sing me it go?" I ask.
"But we already sung that song and do you wanna build a snow man!" Lily says.
"Fine." I say.
I get the part of the song that Lily has requested. Me and Nathan sing and when we finish, Lily insists that we turn frozen off and put the little mermaid on. I put some food on and whilst it's cooking, I ask Nathan to the garden.
"I'm sorry if I've been acting like a bitch today." I say.
"It's ok." Nathan says.
I wrap my arms around Nathan's knock and he put's his hands on my waist. We look into each others eyes and we kiss.
"When will we have another moment alone? I know we had time alone whilst on holiday, but we need time alone without the kids." Nathan says.
"Well, how about Lily goes to Hanna's and the twins go to Hailey's? Then it will be just us two and we can do whatever you want." I say.
"You are so beautiful, you know that." Nathan says.
"You're just saying that." I say.
"No. I'm really not. I think you are beautiful and the kids are blessed to have you as their mum and I am blessed to have you as my wife and best friend." Nathan says.
"Do you remeber, when we were about 12, we went to the park with my friend Violet and your friend Warren and we went to the joke shop. We brought silly string and sprayed it all over the garden. Your dad went mad." I say.
"It was quite funny. Do you remeber when we were 16 and we were going to prom. You went with a guy called Rob and I went with a girl called Iris. They went off together so we danced together for the rest of the night." Nathan says.
"Yes. I think we danced a little like this." I say.
I put my hand on Nathan's shoulder and my other is connected with his hand. He puts his free hand in my waist and we begin to dance.
"And then I twirled you around like this." Nathan says as he spins me round.
"And then I wish I came closer like this." I say as I fill the gap between us by pressing our bodies together.
"And I wish I did something like this." Nathan says.
I tilt my head sideways and Nathan brings our lips together.
"I'm gonna get Hanna and Hailey to come over tonight, they can have the kids tonight. I need you to myself." I say.
I give Nathan one last kiss before going inside. I wake the twins up and we all eat. Then I call Hanna and Hailey and they agree to baby sit. After eating, I go upstairs and pack some clothes for the kids. By 9:15, me and Nathan are on the sofa, kissing.
"Nathan." I say.
"Harper." Nathan says.
We stand up and Nathan carry's me upstairs. He lays me on the bed and then takes his t-short off. I take mine off and then Nathan undresses the rest of me. After that, we spend a few more moments kissing before Nathan pulls something out of the beside table draw. Once he does what he does, we reconnect our lips and you know what happens.
